A continuation of the Sweeney series in which the genial Irish hod- carrier {John Lancaster) dreams that he is nominated and elected mayor of Bordertown. There is a good deal of spontaneous fun in it as, for instance, when his portly wife (Lillian Leighton) has her plush liveried footman bring the. family cow up to the back door of the mayor's pillared mansion and does the milking.
