about love. revenge. all in skin of form of poem. and a labyrinth - story. a Zanussi. and that is the mark who define it in a complete manner. but it is a broken story. many directions. confuse solutions, an exercise without result. the ambition is obvious - create a beautiful movie. but the script, the acting, the sketches of characters, the images gives only foundation for a smoke house. the story is a mix between fairy tale Luchino Visconti traces and Latino drama. the basic problem - it is not really convincing. the desire to say all gives only fragments of speech. the best thing remains the atmosphere. but it is only a small compensation. a film who begins with too many expectations and remains only a promise.

it is not convincing. and far to be coherent. it seems be a mixture of different influences, using the atmosphere, the eroticism, the old solutions for a reasonable work about nothing. sure, it is a beautiful film. but not more. this is far to be a sin. because, after its end, the only important thing remains its flavors. it seems be an improvisation. mixing influences/images from Luchino Visconti and memories about Mediteranean forms of justice and soap operas. the purpose - a Romantic story. and the result is decent. but only significant part remains the delicate frame of a tragic love story. and , maybe, it could be enough.
