Wonderful childhood series
TheLittleSongbird17 May 2011
I have several favourites from my childhood, some I remember vividly and watch over and over from time to time and some that I recall vaguely, the latter of which is the case with The Magical Adventures of Quasimodo. It is a wonderful and underrated series, that I am so happy to have found and revisited. The animation is quite good, with some nice colours and detailed backgrounds. The music has a pleasant lilt to it, the stories are both enchanting and adventurous, the writing is fun and fits with a vast majority of scenes very well and the characters are likable with Quasimodo charming and well-meaning, Francois fun, Esmeralda beautiful and Frollo a real villain through and through. The voice cast fit with the characters more than adequately with the notable standouts being Eleanor Noble and Vlasta Vrana. All in all, wonderful childhood series and worth a look. 9/10 Bethany Cox
