Marty passes out, presumably due to lack of insulin. Cut to Matthews with Marty's wife, who says Marty must have his next shot in an hour and a half. Seems that he actually was already overdue, given that he has passed out.
In the narration that opens the second half, narrator Art Gilmore says "Boxby" instead of the name Bixby.
After Martin leaves with his two friends, Joan makes two phones calls. On the first call she dials five numerals and instantly starts talking to the person on the other end of the line, well before the phone could have rang and been answered. On the second call she dials four numerals and again instantly starts talking before anyone could have answered.
After officer Dennis arrests Haggard and Dunning he puts one pair of handcuffs on one hand of each one of them and puts them both in the front seat while he talks on the radio, hardly a valid police procedure.
After Martin is found in the small building his wife tells Dan Matthews that her husband is in diabetic shock. Officer Dennis was nowhere near them but when Matthews walks out officer Dennis said he had already called the hospital telling them to prepare for a diabetic shock victim.
