According to a new report from the people over at the Christian Post , some new celebrities names have already started turning up as possible houseguests for the upcoming Celebrity Big Brother edition that's due to air this winter 2018. Before we start running off these names, we want to say that none of these people have been officially confirmed to appear on the show. Some of them are just rumored to possibly be in talks to appear on the show, but no official decisions have been made by CBS. It does make sense that the network would actively be in talks right now with multiple celebrities as they're trying to get the season put together in time for a possible January or February 2018 premiere date. With all that said, the Christian Post is reporting that Skid Row front man Sebastian Bach is reportedly in talks with the show to possibly participate.

Leena Yadav's globally acclaimed film Parched about four spirited women in rural Rajasthan battling patriarchy is all set for an Indian release next Friday. The Indian Censor Board has not only lauded the film for its content, but also shown tremendous liberality by leaving the film's powerful , sometimes disturbing content untouched. Says the film's producer Aseem Bajaj (a reputed cinematographer and the film's director Leena Yadav's husband), "The Censor Board has passed the film for 'Adults Only' with just a few cuts. We are very grateful to the Censor Board. They've shown immense empathy, sensitivity and generosity towards Parched." Apparently, there were two women members in the jury of the Censor Board who were moved to tears by Leena Yadav's film. Says Aseem, "They were all moved and were reluctant to cut anything except a shot of a bare breast. They said it (a breast...

The Cbfc (Censor Board Of Film Certification)'s office was opened on Sunday specially to view Percept Pictures' head honcho's directorial debut Sunshine Music Tours & Travels, only because the film's release would have otherwise been delayed. Says a source from the Cbfc, "There was an unusual number of films to be censored this week and Thursday was a holiday. So we decided to open our office on Sunday as an exceptional case," However, the "special" treatment ended there. Sunshine Music Tours & Travel was granted an 'Adults Only' certificate. And Shailendra is happy, "I expected and in fact welcomed an 'A' certificate. The film has several dialogues and situations that are suitable for adult viewing."...

Great Grand Masti

Directed by Indra Kumar
Rating: 0 stars
Stop right here. Veteran filmmaker Indra Kumar who never grew up—at least, his cinema didn’t—has the golden solution to the epidemic problem of rape in this country….masturbation!
In a sequence that must have ranked as a highlight while scripting (I can just see the team holding their crotches and doubling up with laughter) a man stops a car in the middle of nowhere, orders the heroes to pleasure themselves at gunpoint…not just once, but thrice….Exhausted and satiated our three protagonists protest at the very thought of any more self-service.
Satisfied the man with the gun shouts for his daughter. “You can get in the car with them now. They will drive you to the next village without harming you.”

There’s a good chance that everyone reading this is wearing underwear right now: it’s your right, your privilege and your unifying quirk as a human. We even give the sprites who populate our games the same right: the only way games get away with characters going commando is if they’re okay with the dreaded Adults Only rating, or they’re Rockstar and they get to slide with a few seconds worth of dong time.
Most game companies either won’t model anything that can be obscured by a skirt, or they’ll put a black void underneath just in case somebody finds a way to look under. But there are a select few out there that embraced the dirty minded members of their fanbase and added in a little something “special” just for them.
Either that or they were just too trusting and thought...

Remember Pyaar Ka Punchnama (Pkp) that released in 2011? Well the film that enthralled the audience with its more than witty dialogues is set for a sequel Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 (Pkp 2) that is slated for release on October 16. Now we hear that while the Central Board of Film Certification (Cbfc) had granted the first film a UA certificate its sequel has received an 'Adults Only' certification from the Cbfc. Confirming the same Kumar Mangat the film's producer says, "Yes we have received an 'A' certificate from the Cbfc but we always knew that we would get the same. In fact the board did suggest a few alterations to the film with which Pkp 2 would have received a UA rating, but we preferred to retain the objectionable portions and go with an Adults only rating." Further adding Abhishek Pathak says, "Since the release of Pkp in 2011, there have been...

While an Adults Only rating from the Esrb only raises the age requirement from 17 to 18, it is essentially a death knell for any video game. The reason being is that retailers, even ones that exclusively deal in gaming, are hesitant to stock any Adults Only products in their stores, or sell them through their online shops. Several prominent titles have come close to gaining an Adults Only rating in the past, such as Manhunt 2, but were edited for content to ensure a Mature rating instead.
The latest game to almost receive the Adults Only rating is Aquaplus and Atlus’ Dungeon Travelers 2: The Royal Library & The Monster Seal. In order to receive a Mature rating, Atlus had to edit some of the more risqué pieces of artwork. Considering the kind of sexually suggestive art that’s still present in Aquaplus’ dungeon crawling RPG, it would be interesting to see what had to be edited.

Milap Zaveri's next venture Mastizaade featuring none other than Sunny Leone wrapped up their shooting a while back. However the film which is an out and out adult sex comedy ran into trouble with the Censor Board of Film Certification (Cbfc) refusing to certify the film due to its content. However now we hear that the makers of the film can finally breathe a sigh of relief as the Cbfc has cleared the film with an Adults only tag.
Confirming the same an elated Milap says, "I am very happy that Mastizaade has been cleared by the Cbfc. We are excited and locking the release date for the same. For now I can assure the audience that those who have loved Grand Masti will definitely get as much Masti from Mastizaade too".

Madhur Bhandarkar, who likes it mentioned in every write-up on him that he's a 3-times National award winner, can breathe a sigh of relief. Calendar Girls, the latest work from that creator of modern feminine fables was cleared by the censor board on Wednesday with some verbal and no visual cuts. But with an 'Adults Only' tag. Says a source in the know, "The censor board felt the film's content and visuals immediately warranted an 'A' certificate. Some abusive words were cut. All the shots of girls in bikinis have been left intact." Bhandarkar and his producers are apparently not happy with the 'Adults' certification and will apparently appeal against it to the Cbfc's Revising Committee. However if Bhandarkar appeals for a 'UA' certificate, sources say the bikini shots would have to be considerably reduced. "That wouldn't leave much for audiences to enjoy," says the source.

In order to make Bombay Velvet accessible to a non-adult audience, the Censor Board Of Film Certification (Cbfc) has reduced the length of the kissing scenes featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma. This was one of the adjustments required by director Anurag Kashyap before his film could be given a 'U/A' certificate. Anurag Kashyap's 120-crore rupee retro-drama Bombay Velvet which was granted an 'Adults Only' certificate by the Examining Committee (EC) of the censor board last week was on Friday re-viewed by the Revising Committee (Rc). The eagerly-awaited film has now been granted a 'U/A' certificate which Kashyap insisted on getting. Says a well-paced source from the Cbfc, "The cuts that were stipulated earlier by the EC remain. The word 'dhobi' and some abusive terms have been beeped out. In addition a shot of a politician putting his hand on a woman's breast has been removed.

Reports that Imtiaz Ali's Highway has been stopped from telecast on Doordarshan by the censor board due to its depiction of child abuse, are false. One has it from very reliable sources that the chairperson of Cbfc Pahlaj Nihalani personally intervened and cleared the film for telecast on national television for all ages. Says a source, "Though it's not official yet, the Chairperson has passed the film for Doordarshan screening without any cuts with a 'U' certificate. It was for Adults Only when screened theatrically." Giving the official version of the facts pertaining to the certification of Highway for Doordarshan the Cbfc's CEO Shravan Kumar states, "For telecast of content on Doordarshan, they have their own elaborate guidelines, which are issued by them from time to time and therefore it is not a factually correct statement to say that "the board has deemed the film unsuitable for screening on Doordarshan.

My First R-rated Movie Or…
How I Became The 007 Of Covert Forbidden Film Viewing
By Alex Simon
For those of us who grew up in the suburbs in the pre-home video, pre-cable TV and pre-Netflix coupons 1970s and early ‘80s, there were few dangerous pleasures as heady as sneaking into an R-rated movie at the local multiplex. The multiplex cinema was a ‘70s phenomenon that made regulating children’s viewing habits infinitely more difficult than the old days of stand-alone, single screen theaters. Ironically, the new freedom that filmmakers enjoyed with the advent of the MPAA rating system in late 1968 was almost in perfect synch with the rise of multi-screen cinemas. Some things do happen for a reason.

Since its inception, NH10 has grabbed a lot of attention owing to the fact that it will mark the debut of Anushka Sharma as a producer. The film, which deals with the violence and gang wars in the interiors of Northern India, recently was launched with much fan fare. NH10 also has Anushka Sharma playing the lead, who is on a mission to survive and fight the killers of her husband. Since, it is a crime thriller involving a lot of bloodshed and gore, the censors have decided to rate the film as 'Adults only'. Also agreeing to this decision, director Navdeep Singh stated that the film was never meant for children and hence he is happy with the certification. Though he was disappointed over the fact that some may miss the film due to the 'A' certificate, he maintained that he did not want to compromise on the content.

The shockingly controversial mass murder simulation game, Hatred, has been granted an Ao (Adults Only) rating by the Esrb. This marks the second video game in history to receive the fatal age restriction for violence and foul language alone, with the original PlayStation’s unreleased Thrill Kill being the first.
On Destructive Creations’ – the developers behind Hatred – forum, a representative had the following to say:
“Well, I’m not quite convinced why Hatred got Ao rating while it lacks any sexual content, but it’s still some kind of achievement to have the second game in history getting Ao rating for violence and harsh language only.”
Though they disagree with the ruling, they have been more than cooperative with the Esrb, who have explained reasoning behind the Ao rating.
While an Ao rating is essentially a death warrant for any video game developer, some titles do get edited down to warrant an M (Mature) rating,...

“Would you like people to make money off your misery?”
I can’t believe I’m getting the opportunity to see Ruggero Deodato’s Cannibal Holocaust on the big screen again for the third time in 10 years. I have a history with Cannibal Holocaust. It was made in 1980 but never played theatrically here in St. Louis. Notorious for its realistic and barbaric violence (and also for the on-screen killing of real animals) it was too rough for even Fangoria to cover and I only read about it in some of the fanzines that I subscribed to later in the decade. That’s where I first laid eyes on some mind-blowing images like the one of the woman impaled on a pole — through her vagina and out her mouth! (I’m still not sure how they faked that….if they faked that!).
Finally, in 1988 I attended my first Fangoria Weekend of Horrors.

Young Frankenstein plays this weekend (October 10th and 11th) at the Tivoli as part of their Reel Late at the Tivoli Midnight series.
Good comedies are rare. Great ones are rarer. Great parodies are needles in the haystack, and this is it. The parody can be brilliantly funny (most are horrid), but Young Frankenstein is near perfect.
Mel Brooks hit all nails right on the head in his black & white classic from 1974. Taking its themes from the Mary Shelley novel and providing some spot-on homage/parody to the James Whale classic Bride Of Frankenstein (and plenty of references to Son Of Frankenstein as well), Young Frankenstein is a breathless laugh and a half. In a weak comedy, you have the entire cast setting up one character for the laughs. Here, you have every character providing humor in every scene. None more...

Ghost In The Shell plays this weekend (September 12th and 13th) at The Tivoli at midnight as part of their Reel Late at the Tivoli midnight series.
Mamoru Oshii’s Ghost In The Shell (1995) is one of the ultimate nerd movies. It’s science fiction anime aimed at smart audiences, and one that raised the bar for Japanese animation. Its complex story is set in a society where being a full-flesh human is no longer the norm. Is humanity losing its existence or is it loosely defined? Cyborgs are part human, part machine, and a continuation of a previously “whole” human entity. Major Motoko Kusanagi, a full-replacement cyborg in the national security division Section 9, is investigating a mysterious hacker who goes by the name “The Puppet Master.” It may be apparent throughout the film that many of its aspects and ideas...

Purple Rain plays this weekend (September 5th and 6th) at The Tivoli at midnight as part of their Reel Late at the Tivoli midnight series.
Purple Rain is pure ‘80s. Prince was at the top of his game in 1984, a musical genius who was bringing together everything from punk to funk to heavy metal in a singular fusion that pointed the way to a race-blind future. Everyone wanted to see this movie, which was not much more than an extended music video. The plot of Purple Rain is hackneyed and has a paper-thin screenplay, Something about Prince as a small-time nightclub star in Minnesota known as ‘The Kid’ who dreams of making it big, but there always seems to be something standing in his way. That’s about it. But the film was outstanding, wonderfully scored and was a huge hit. Prince’s Academy Award...

It was very sad to hear of the passing of Mike Vraney on January 2nd, he was only 56 years old. Anyone who is a true movie geek, film fan, or cinema addict owes him a debt of thanks. With Something Weird Video Vraney made available hundreds, if not thousands of hours of rare, obscure and vintage films, most of which were, well..really weird.
Consider his association with Dave Friedman and H,G. Lewis, Swv put out virtually their entire catalog of films first on VHS and then dvd. Not to mention the films of Harry Novak, Coffin Joe and his bizarre films from South America and many other rare titles that were impossible to see, not so long ago.
Swv put out hundreds of collections of nudie cutie loops, stag films, trailers for drive-in swill and compilations of highway safety and class room instructional films.

National award-winning filmmaker Nila Madhab Panda is in shock over the liberal attitude of the Censor Board Of Film Certification (Cbfc). He had gone for a certification for a censor certificate for his new film Babloo Happy Hai with much trepidation. "My film is about the casual attitude today's youngsters have towards pre-marital sex. Both my earlier feature films I Am Kalam and Jalpari have featured children as protagonists. This is the first time I've gone into adult territory. I thought the censor board would go over-board cutting the scenes and dialogues where sex is discussed explicitly. I thought they'd treat my film like Grand Masti. To my surprise they agreed to give me a UA certificate. The censor board felt youngsters under the age of consent should also know about the pitfalls of pre-marital sex. " It seems it isn't only Panda who earlier made children's films, who has grown up.

Never let it be said that Lars Von Trier and the team behind his latest, Nymphomaniac, can’t find ways to generate press with controversy. Take the latest snippet from the film, which is so full of sex and nudity that YouTube scrubbed it from its site and had to take a cold shower afterwards. With that in mind, be wary of watching this at work or where ankle biters might see it, as it’s definitely Adults Only… This particular chunk features a little organ (fnaar) and a chorale prelude by Bach that plays across pieces of footage, including nature imagery and, no hiding it, scenes of a sexual nature.Nymphomaniac chronicles the erotic journey of self-diagnosed sex addict Joe (Charlotte Gainsbourg) from birth until the age of 50. The movie will jump around in time and cover a large number of characters. The cast also includes Shia Labeouf, Jamie Bell,...

Radley Metzger was born in New York. Prior to his acting career, he distributed Erotic Continental movies in America. This obviously informed the films he directed. Metzger primarily worked in Europe producing highly artistic – and often cerebral – soft core porn movies in the late 1960s, such as Therese and Isabelle and Carmen, Baby. These films were usually positively received by the critics who enjoyed the attempts by Metzger to mix sex with substance.
When the hardcore porn era came around, Metzger stepped his game up and decided to go with the flow. He is widely regarded as the most accomplished hardcore porn film maker the world has ever seen. His productions were lavish affairs, and often featured gorgeous cinematography (Metzger really knew how to get the best out of his locations), innovative camera work and supremely talented porn performers who could act as well as deliver the erotic antics required of them.

In Prakash Jha's Satyagraha, Manoj Bajpayee who plays a slimy politician would not be allowed to use the Hindi abusive word 'ch...tiya' although in real life politicians are often heard at their colourful best. Hindi cuss-words have a peculiar history in our cinema. They are allowed by the censor board in films for 'Adults Only'. But not if you use them too often. Says a young filmmaker, "I was offered an Adults Only certificate as my characters used Hindi expletives extensively. But I was told that I'd have to reduce the number of gaalis by one-third. If the characters use 'ch..tiya' 7 times, I can have it 3 times, and so on. It didn't make any sense. How can one 'ch...tiya' be different from another?" The latest censorial absurdity is to ask Prakash Jha to remove on 'ch..tiya' used by Manoj Bajpayee. Luckily for him,...

Bollywood cinema is truly coming of age. And it seems the Censor Board Of Film Certification is determined not to trail behind any longer. After that extremely aesthetic pertinent and stunning gay kiss between Randeep Hooda and Saqib Saleem last week in Viacom 18's Bombay Talkies, we have a lesbian kiss coming up in this week in Go Goa Gone. Miraculously, the Cbfc has allowed this unorthodox kiss too to pass by. Says a source, "The gay kiss in Karan Johar's story of Bombay Talkies was absolutely essential. But, in Go Goa Gone, the lesbian kiss forms no part of the central theme. The film's co-directors Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. were pleasantly surprised by the censors liberal attitude. They expected the kiss to go." When contacted, Nidimoru confirmed that the lesbian kiss has indeed survived the censors' scissors. "This kiss is just for fun during a rave party.

Sick of seeing the blood, guts and boobs plaster all over those pesky cabinets kept in the gaming equivalent of opium dens known as arcades? If only the cowabunga youth of today would put down their skateboards and Gameboys for one minute, and just get some damn fresh air, they’d feel the benefit.
To this end, New Jersey Assemblywoman Linda Stender has announced that she plans to “…introduce legislation that prohibits any kind of public accommodation—movie theaters, rest stops, bowling alleys, arcades—from making games rated Mature or Adults Only available to the public for play.”
When every kind of violent tittilation imaginable is freely available on the internet, it’s nice to believe that the children of today get their pre-pubescent rocks off to the game cabinets at the arcade. If for one second we allow ourselves to pretend that these cabinets exist, then the law is somewhat understandable,...

Mumbai, Feb 19: Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma's new film "The Attacks of 26/11" has been passed by the Central Board of Film Certification (Cbfc) without any cuts, but with an 'Adults Only' certificate.
"He expected an 'A' certificate because of the nature of the content. But the fact that not a single shot was found to be objectionable only vindicates the stand Ramu had taken when he was attacked for making the film. He didn't make this film to sensationalise the issue," said a friend of Varma.
And now he awaits the release of the film March 1 with fingers crossed. The film is based on the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks of.

A new bill, the Video Games Ratings Enforcement Act, breaks down exactly how some legislation is planning to create tighter control on video game content with the Esrb.
Firstly, it will be illegal for any person to distribute, sell or rent, a video game which does not contain a rating label. Any store that sells video games will be required to clearly display information on the Esrb rating labels, and what those labels mean. Not too bad right? I mean shouldn’t this type of thing already be happening?
Here, however, is where I have somewhat of a problem:
”It shall be unlawful for any person to sell or rent, or attempt to sell or rent— any video game containing a content rating of ‘Adults Only’ (as determined by the Entertainment Software Ratings Board) to any person under the age of 18; or any video game containing a content rating of...

Australia’s media watchdog has thrown out complaints made against Channel Nine for broadcasting live phone sex content on its infomercial channel.
BabeTV Live went out on Extra in Queensland and regional Nsw after 10pm on 8 October, with some viewers complaining that the “exploitative and degrading” content should have come with a R 18+ adult rating.
Others pointed out that datacasting channels are not allowed to broadcast programs but only advertising – and BabeTV Live is a show, not an ad.
One complaint suggested that the content could be defined as a quiz or games show, a light entertainment or variety program, or a reality show.
BabeTV Live features two scantily clad female presenters who encourage viewers to call in at a cost of $4.75 per minute, using provocative language and suggestive actions. Before it begins, the message “the following program is for Adults Only” appears on screen.

Tonight is the final episode of Nine’s first outing of Big Brother. With 300 crew members, 42 cameras and almost 90 hours of television broadcast each series, there is no TV production quite like it. Furthermore, Bhatt states that the changes implemented have ‘genuinely… made my film more erotic’.

In "Piranha 3Dd," which hits theaters this Friday, the community of Lake Victoria is besieged by another swarm of prehistoric, man-eating fish. In the first film, it was drunken spring breakers who fell victim to the gory attacks. This time around, it's the partygoers at the Lake's "Adults Only" water park Big Wet (which happens to be watched over by stripper lifeguards and celebrity spokesman David Hasselhoff). The piranha invade thanks to an illegal river pump Ok'd by the park's dirtbag owner, Chet, played by none other than "that guy!" comedic scene-stealer David Koechner. (You might remember him as the sleazy Todd Packer on "The Office" or the sleazy boss from "Waiting..." or the sleazy boss from "Final Destination 5.") Koechner spoke with Moviefone and explained how to convincingly portray a slimeball that unwittingly unleashes a stomach-churning monster massacre -- and how to do it while not being distracted by the constant on-set nudity.

It’s here– the final battle of our webcomics tournament between Thomas Siddell’s Gunnerkrigg Court and Tarol Hunt’s Goblins!
Both strips pulled off tremendous upsets in the last round, beating such webcomics as Homestuck and Order Of The Stick, to make it to the final showdown. We remind you that the second place winner will get $50, with the grand prize winner walking away with $100. (We’d also like to point out that if you’re a fan of either of these strips, you may enjoy our own GrimJack: The Manx Cat by John Ostrander and Timothy Truman and Demons of Sherwood by Robert Tinnell and Bo Hampton. End of soft sell.)
The finals start right now, and ends this Monday night, April 9, at 11:59 Pm, Eastern Daylight Time.

Michel Hazanavicius' The Artist won another award earlier today from Us-based film critics. The Phoenix Film Critics Society chose the French-made (mostly) silent comedy-drama as the Best Film of 2011. Hazanavicius (right) was also chosen as Best Director and as the writer of the Best Original Screenplay, while The Artist's leading man, Jean Dujardin, was the Best Actor and the film's leading lady, Bérénice Bejo, was the Best Supporting Actress. (Sometimes there's a fine line between what amounts to a leading or a supporting role.) Additionally, The Artist was cited for Best Score, Best Film Editing, and Best Costume Design. [Full list of Phoenix Film Critics winners.] Despite The Artist's sweep, several other movies managed to come out victorious in Phoenix as well: Martha Marcy May Marlene's Elizabeth Olsen was a relatively unusual choice for Best Actress — Michelle Williams has been dominating that field for My Week with Marilyn, though Olsen has been often...

Not every filmmaker has a background as a controversial, award-winning artist. But film has always been intrinsic to Turner Prize-winner Steve McQueen's work -- 1997's "Deadpan," for instance, recreated Buster Keaton's legendary collapsing building stunt in "Steamboat Bill Jr." -- so his movement into feature filmmaking always felt like a natural shift, and it was no surprise that when it came with 2008's "Hunger," it would be one of the most indelible films of that year. His sophomore feature, "Shame," has caught the popular imagination to an even greater extent, despite the specter of some fairly explicit sexuality and the albatross of an Nc-17 rating around its neck. But with distributor Fox Searchlight working hard to strip away the stigma of the Adults Only tag, the film is looking like it'll reach an even wider audience than "Hunger," and should figure into the awards discussion in a big way as the.
