He may be missing a nose, ears and a tail, but it’s everything Baron the shelter dog has that consistently floors people.
“Everyone that meets him is always surprised to find that he is a very sweet, kind and forgiving dog,” says Valerie Bennett, social media coordinator for the Michigan Humane Society, who is currently caring for the pup.
The emaciated Rottweiler was rescued in Detroit on Jan. 17 by a concerned citizen — and, as you can imagine, his looks didn’t go unnoticed. The pup’s nose and ears were cut off, and there were other wounds on his legs and tail.

It’s quite literally a magical time to be a Marvel fan. Since Marvel’s Agents Of Shield last aired, fans were introduced to a world of magic in the Doctor Strange movie (hey Marvel, isn’t it time to announce the sequel?). But Marvel TV has its fair share of magic as well, and it’s all on display this week as half the team is lost in a very dark magical dimension thanks to the machinations of Eli Morrow.
The last few season, Agents of Shield has been all about Hydra and the Inhumans. Now, the series seems to be the place to explore the new Marvel world of magic.

No one loves a great scene more than the person who first dreamed it up: the writer. We're asking shows' creators and writers to tell Et all about getting to see their most cherished moment from their series make it from script to screen.
For Jon Bokenkamp, creator of NBC’s The Blacklist, the scene that catapulted the crime thriller into more than a procedural came early in the first season. By the first few episodes, the drama starring James Spader and Megan Boone was already considered a breakout hit.
It was a moment in the 11th episode, titled “The Good Samaritan,” in which Spader’s Raymond “Red” Reddington -- one of the FBI’s most wanted fugitives -- established himself as an unexpected and charming anti-hero that viewers rooted for. Here, Bokenkamp explains why an insignificant scene turned the tide for The Blacklist.

Agents of Shield has been on fire this season (heh…) and that is all mainly because of the inclusion of Ghost Rider. The character and story surrounding him has brought a really neat aspect to the show through the inclusion of magic and the supernatural timed nicely into the release of Doctor Strange. Ghost Rider has brought a spark to the show that creates this greater mysticism for the writers to pull from and only opens up additional avenues for new stories. Agents of Shield has really changed up it’s dynamic this season and so far it’s really paying off; with the

Is there any better match for the superhero than the origin story? Well, maybe capes, but those are overrated (and as we all learned in The Incredibles, can be the tragic undoing of even the most powerful among us).
Sometimes origin stories can feel unnecessary – after all, a little mystery can be a good thing – or repetitive – there are only so many times we need to watch Bruce Wayne's parents die – but when done well, they can be the ideal way to keep audiences connected to the human side of superhumans.
Origin stories remind us of what superheroes were they were like when they were, well, just like us.
On Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 4 Episode 6, we were treated to a standout origin story. And while Ghost Rider may not be a stereotypical superhero (in that he is obviously far more cursed than blessed by his abilities), it didn't dilute the...

When it was first revealed that Ghost Rider was coming to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the response was mixed. Most fans were annoyed that the character was being “wasted” on a show which has been struggling in terms of ratings for some time now, but it turns out that the Spirit of Vengeance may be exactly what the series needed.
While he may not be the Johnny Blaze or Danny Ketch version many fans were hoping to see, it seems that Robbie Reyes is pretty interesting after all, and Ghost Rider has so far been an exciting presence in the ABC series. However, the show has barely touched on his supernatural origins, but thankfully, that now looks set to change.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will delve into the character’s origin story in the upcoming sixth episode, titled “The Good Samaritan.

The Blacklist, Season 1, Episode 11: “The Good Samaritan Killer”
Written by Brandon Margolis and Brandon Sonnier
Directed by Dan Lerner
Airs Mondays at 10pm Et on NBC
When the new shows for fall 2013 were being announced, it seemed all but guaranteed that The Blacklist would the standout from the bunch. It had a great lead in the form of James Spader and a solid episodic premise that just might border on intrigue, but instead, The Blacklist proved to be consistent at one thing among others: disappointment. That was true for the first half of the season, at least. Could this new year mean a better, more improved show? It doesn’t seem likely.
Following the attack on the FBI safehouse and Red’s (James Spader) ensuing abduction and escape, the FBI are simultaneously searching for Red, who has gone Mia, and attempting to identify the mole inside the FBI that helped Anslo Garrick kidnap him.
