John is elated when he's invited to a party, he's keen to rekindle a friendship with old flame, Jennifer Askwith, but sadly for him, the phonecall never comes.
This one is almost somber, or course it's beautifully written and funny, but John's sadness and loneliness is almost heart breaking, credit to Ralph Bates once again, his performance was spot on.
Just when you think Kirk is going to crack and open up with his story about Lola, he dashes it all, of course none of the others believe his wild stories. Back in the day before phones, where people used to keep a little black book.
Favourite scene, that moment where Louise politely turns down John's offer of a night out, and describes in detail, all that could potentially happen.
Mrs Lemenski once again comes up with some hilarious, cutting one liners, she's so blunt.
I am absolutely addicted to this show.
8/10.
