Originally aired as a two-parter, occupying the entire half-hour block. It was edited after its first few airings.
The title is taken from a line in the song 'Hey Joe', most famously recorded by Jimi Hendrix, though the actual lyric is "Way down to Mexico Way."
This is the infamous episode that was originally a two-parter but eventually the second part got banned due to scenes of the boys hitting kids with clubs and stealing their fireworks and then later on swallowing condoms full of drugs with the intention of smuggling them. The episode was released on the "Too dumb for tv" PAL VHS tape, both parts fully uncut (except the music videos of course).
The "Pass the Old El Crasso" commercial at the beginning of this episode was sung by John Andrews and Mike Judge.
