A man named Souji Tendo has trained his entire life to take up the name of Kamen Rider Kabuto. He attempts to accomplish his goal to destroy all the alien Worms that threaten humanity that arrived from a meteorite seven years ago.

| Plot Summary |
An alien species called Worms threatens the city after a meteorite crashed into Shibuya seven years ago. An organization called ZECT has been developing zecters that can turn its users into masked riders in order to fight the Worms.
