If you ever wanted to eat like Leatherface, your nightmares are coming true. Of course, part of the fun will be wondering exactly what you’re eating. …
The landmark previously known as the Last Chance gas station and Bilbo’s Texas Landmark has lain in disrepair for years, but The Guardian reports that Ohio businessman Roy Rose last year bought the filling station featured prominently in the original Texas Chain Saw Massacre and plans to turn it into a barbecue joint and a theme park of sorts, celebrating the film and its cannibal clan.
Naming his joint We Slaughter Barbecue, Rose last year told Kxan, a local Texas NBC affiliate, “We’re going to build a horror barbecue resort. We’re going to put cabins in the back for all the fans who want to come and stay the night.”

The Last Chance Gas Station from the original Texas Chain Saw Massacre, a key setting in the 1974 horror classic where Leatherface murdered a carload of teenagers, will soon be the home of a different kind of carnage, as the building is in the process of being restored as a BBQ joint. In a nod to the cult film, the new business – which will retain the same appearance as Texas Chain Saw Massacre – will operate under the name We Slaughter Barbecue, Hitfix reports.

If you’re a horror movie lover with a taste for the gruesome, there’s soon to be a restaurant in Texas just for you. The famed Last Chance Gas Station from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, where Leatherface did his damage, is about to become a barbecue joint. According to its Facebook page, construction on We Slaughter Barbecue is in full swing, with its grand opening slated for this July. The facility will not only have a restaurant, but it will also feature an outdoor stage and even lodging for people brave enough to spend the night there. The idea is the brainchild of businessman Roy Rose. In a 2015 interview with Kxan, Rose explained that he was such a fan of the 1974 slasher classic, that he bought the horror landmark, moving his family from Cleveland to Bastrop, Texas, about 50 miles southeast of Austin. Rose said that his vision was to create a “horror barbecue resort,...

Sweet, silly, charming. A true story about an unlikely canine-assisted project to protect endangered birds, goofily fictionalized to engage kids. I’m “biast” (pro): nothing
I’m “biast” (con): nothing
(what is this about? see my critic’s minifesto)
So this really happened: about 10 years ago, a farmer in Australia trained one of his Maremma sheepdogs, which had been guarding chickens, to instead protect a colony of endangered penguins that was being decimated by foxes. It was a huge success, and the colony is now thriving. I suspect some aspects of the true story have been embellished for the delightful Oddball and the Penguins — “a fairy tale that really happened” — but that first dog really was called Oddball, and that farmer really is actually named Swampy Marsh. Here, in the town of Warrnambook on Australia’s southeastern coast, Swampy (Shane Jacobson: The Dressmaker) and his gradeschooler granddaughter, Olivia...

How do you make a Making a Murderer? Well, for SundanceTV that means dusting off the one you already have. The network will be making its Peabody Award–winning docu-series The Staircase from 2005 available on its website and app beginning January 15, with the first two episodes free. (That's how they get you!) The eight-part series by Oscar winner Jean-Xavier de Lestrade details the case of novelist Michael Peterson, on trial for the murder of his wife, Kathleen, who was found dead at the bottom of the stairs in their North Carolina mansion in 2001. The ensuing trial involved sex, politics, and possibly another death in a complex series of plot twists and reversals. It was well reviewed when it came out, and has been called "the Serial before there was a Serial!" The original docu-series will be aired with de Lestrade's 2013 follow-up The Staircase: Last Chance, which documents...

Season six of The Walking Dead is shaping up to be its best, most dramatic run yet, but drama comes with unwelcome sacrifice...
This review contains spoilers.
6.3 Thank You
I've been positive about The Walking Dead for a long time. Even the second season, the show's worst, had plenty of bright spots in it to be positive about. New characters, some very inventive special effects, chaotic zombie action. The show knows what we want, and it gives it to us. So far, the sixth season of The Walking Dead is shaping up to be the show's best, because I cannot think of another three-episode run that's been quite as good as this one.
The show has been improving since that second season. The action quotient has been increased in spite of budgetary limitations. The writing has become drastically better, opting to show much more than it tells.

Psychological thrillers had their heyday in the 90’s with films like Fatal Attraction, The Hand That Rocks The Cradle and plenty of others. What was interesting was their core viewing audience were women. Typically, the films would revolve around an affair or have some sort of sexual context that would give just enough gossipy sleaze to middle America. Earlier this year, you may remember a film being released that seemed like it was somehow transported from the 90’s called The Boy Next Door, another Blumhouse joint like The Gift, starring Jennifer Lopez. If you already forgot about it, Jenny from the Block is a high school teacher who is seduced by a high school student and then the student’s obsession turns nasty. While I haven’t seen the film, this film seems to use the knowledge that people have of true life stories they have seen or heard of...

Among the numerous festivals that take place during the month of July, Lollapalooza may be the historically richest. Having taken place off and on in different formats since 1991, the event series has succeeded in propelling a variety of artists into the mainstream spotlight. While superstar DJ/producer Kaskade may not necessarily be one of them, he does hail from the festival’s hometown of Chicago – and he played a set at this year’s installment that absolutely brought the house down.
We haven’t exactly been celebratory of all of Kaskade’s recent material, but when it comes to tearing it up on the decks, his recent performance demonstrates that he still knows how to get a crowd hopping. Studded with favorites like “Room for Happiness” and “Atmosphere,” the mix did contain a few of his less-deserving tracks – like his remix of Jack Ü’s “Where Are Ü Now,” for instance.

Again, do not scroll down unless you want not only the character's identity to be Spoiled, but another massive revelation too. Last Chance.... So there you have it. As many of you correctly guessed, the new Thor is actually Jane Foster, who's super-heroics have evidently elevated her cancer symptoms. Could this be setting up Natalie Portman eventually taking over from Chris Hemsworth in the role in the McU? Well it's widely believed that'll be the case for Anthony Mackie's Falcon once Chris Evans hangs up the Captain America shield, so it's definitely a possibility. What do you guys think of this reveal anyway?...

Prince Harry sure has a way with the ladies...particularly one Australian lady... Dressed in full camo military garb, the 30-year-old royal greeted hundreds of fans gathered at the Sydney Opera House on Thursday, a day before he ends his month-long embed with the Australian Defence Force. One of them, a 21-year-old blonde woman named Victoria McRae, wearing a fake golden crown, was particularly daring, as seen in videos posted by the U.K.'s Sky News. First, she stood with a sign that read, "Marry me Prince Harry, last chance." And then she just flat-out proposed. "I've been trying to ask you, will you marry me?" she asked the prince, holding up her sign. "Last chance?"...

Pre-credit sequence. Shirin is gone, but thanks to Mike, last week's Tribal had some amusement and it's time to see what the ripples are. Everybody's trying to figure out who voted for who, with Mike cackling all the way. The Six go off into the jungle to scramble, which Mike loves, even if he wasn't invited. He knows he's safe with his Idol, so The Six will have to cannibalize. Dan is ranting and raving about knowing it was a bluff, while Tyler is trying to lecture Dan on basic strategy. "It's fine," Dan says, putting his hand on Tyler's chest in a threatening manner. Clueless Will is trying to explain to Dan why he voted for him and Dan also reassures him, in a Low-Rent Godfather kinda way. "I don't have too many lifelines remaining," Tyler says, vowing to vote for Dan again if he needs to.

Victoria Grayson: Dead or alive? Before Sunday’s penultimate episode of Revenge, we would have bet on the former faster than you could say “infinity times infinity,” but now… not so much.

Within the first five minutes of Secrets and Lies‘ March 1 premiere, we were made aware of Tom Murphy’s tragic death.
In the nine weeks since then, the ABC drama has thrown so many plot twists at its central murder mystery, you might as well have believed that Detective Cornell herself was responsible for the child’s death.
So, if you’re reading this recap, you want to know who the culprit was — and I’m happy to get that part out of the way.

Up-to-date with Arrow? You can get some behind the scenes info on that big spoilery thing here, if you like…
If you’ve not watched this week’s Arrow yet, there’s still a good chance you had the shock change spoiled for you by overzealous sharing in certain corners of the internet yesterday morning.
We’ve erred on the side of caution here, regardless, and have given you a day to watch Broken Arrow before digging into the revelations within the episode.
Also, we’re going to employ our spoiler squirrel Daphne (who’s had bit of time off recently) as a last line of defence against pesky plot details.
Last chance: if you haven’t seen Broken Arrow yet, you won't want to scroll past our vigilant squirrel…
So, Roy/Colton Haynes has left Arrow. In a bit of a The Dark Knight Rises-y way, he...

In this episode of Dance Moms, "Nia's Last Chance," the group adds a new member. Abby puts added pressure on Nia. Holly looks for new allies. And the girls get critiqued by the judges at a competition.
All the moms are riding high after the group's latest win against Cathy and the Candy Apples, with one exception -- Holly. She's still feeling distant from the rest of the group, in particular longtime fellow dance moms Jill and Melissa.

Everything after this paragraph will be dealing with a persistent “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” casting rumor about Domhnall Gleeson. Abandon all hope of remaining spoiler-free, ye who enter here. Turn back now. . . . Last chance. . . . Okay. Back in the beginning of February, Making Star Wars heard that Domhnall Gleeson has been cast as Luke Skywalker’s son. Not only that, but the young Skywalker is allegedly an Imperial Officer who turned his cloak over sketchy decisions made by the Rebel Alliance. At first, I didn’t think much of this revelation. While dismissed to the realm of “Legends,” the Expanded Universe had Luke shacking up with Mara Jade for years. This coupling produced at least one kid, Ben Skywalker. So when this rumor popped up, it made sense that Disney and Abrams would repurpose the character for their own use. The Imperial Officer bit is a twist, but if...

Seriously, if you haven't seen the movie yet you are advised not to read any further... okay? Last chance! So, after an insane action sequence inside a church sees Colin Firth's Harry Hart dispatch pretty much an entire congregation of religious fanatics (in the most violent ways possible), the disorientated Kingsman agent wanders outside only to be shot in the head by Samuel L. Jackson's hemophobic villain, Valentine. It's a shocker no doubt, but is Hart really dead? During an interview with USA Today director Matthew Vaughn hints that Firth, at least, might be returning for the planned sequel. “A lot of people are very upset that Colin might not be in the sequel but I’m coming up with ideas at the moment," he revealed. "If people buy tickets in America, I’ve got a feeling we’ll figure out a way for having Colin back.” Now he only said Colin,...

Two Overs in The X Factor Grand Finale. Who'd-a-thunk it?
Fleur East and Ben Haenow have beaten off Jack Walton, Stereo Kicks and Stevi Ritchie (oh, behave!) to make it to Wembley tonight.
And although we won't be seeing Andi Peters at the CD printing press (more for shame), we can expect more Louis Walsh, celebratory sausages and One Direction.
Crack out the eggnog and join Digital Spy as we await the news of whether Fleur or Ben will follow the illustrious steps of Shayne Ward, Steve Brookstein and Leon Jackson to take The X Factor crown.
Even more exciting than that, we're also hoping for an update on whether Labrinth ever had his wisdom teeth out...
22:01Anyway, that's it everyone! With one last plug for the tour, we're over and out. Goodnight all!
21:59There are too many X Factor finalists there with shaved sides of their heads.

On December 10th, Bravo will bring back Last Chance Kitchen, the web series that determines which eliminated contestant will receive a second opportunity to become Top Chef. As fans of the culinary competition await the web companion's return, Bravo has tided them over with a short teaser previewing the first episode. The teaser reintroduces the Last Chance Kitchen format, through which eliminated chefs will complete in a series of auxiliary challenges. In the end, a single winner will be able to return to Top Chef in time for the show's season 12 finale. Last Chance Kitchen has emerged as one of the best examples of a web series companion for a popular TV program. Since its debut in 2012, its simple approach has managed to trim much of the fat and filler out of reality TV while simultaneously making use of formula that has served Top Chef well.

Usain Bolt, California Chrome and Amtrak’s Acela service have got nothing on The Voice.
When NBC’s reality singing competition hits the live voting rounds, it feels like The Hulk (in full rage mode) is pressing his foot against the accelerator — and there’s barely a moment to register what’s going down.
Think about it: On November 10, the Season 7 Live Playoffs began with a deep and exciting bench of 20 contestants. A mere 23 days later, the field has been slashed — with extreme prejudice — down to five semifinalists. Heck, with that kind of schedule, Pharrell and Gwen Stefani barely had...

Where are the Spice Girls when you need ‘em?
No, that’s not me throwing shade at Taylor Swift’s performance of “Blank Space” on tonight’s Top 10 results telecast of The Voice.
