Local drug dealer Chris Platt is arrested by DS Boulton, with very thin evidence against him, he sets about trying to put evidence together.
It's a good story, if a little unremarkable, however it does serve to give us a true insight into the character of John Boulton. After this we're left in no doubts as to what sort of man he is, he's an absolute monster, he's ruthless, devious, harsh, and willing to do whatever is needed for a result. He is going to upset so many people, good character.
It further reinforces why I'm such a fan of Monroe, sound acting as always, but as a character, he really does rule the roost.
There is more to come from this I'm sure.
All on all, it's very good, and really gritty, 8/10.
