Actor Les Lye's characters do not appear out of place very often. Equally rare is when two of his characters appear in the same scene and then in the same shot, but in this episode Barth and Blip both appear in Blip's arcade. Seemingly using a stunt double rather than a split screen or green screen effect, the result is remarkably believable and must have challenged more than a few young viewers just old enough to start grasping that all the adult male characters were played by Les Lye, causing more than a few double takes, scratched heads and knit eyebrows.
In May of 2001, visitors to the studio where You Can't Do That On Television was made found the chair used in this episode's dining room scene where Lisa got slimed, in a storage room with green slime still encrusted on it.
On entering Blip's Arkaid, Alasdair Gillis tells Corey Fraser that he "can't wait to get in and play UFO Kidnapped". Alasdair was recording the movie UFO Kidnapped (1984) at about that time, along with other You Can't Do That on Television (1979) stars Kevin Kubusheskie, Les Lye, Klea Scott, Vanessa Lindores, Doug Ptolemy, and Rodney Helal.
This is the first and final appearance of Corey Fraser in the series.
Vanessa Lindores only appears in the Locker Jokes segment.
