Anthropologist and adventurer Peter Byrne, who had been interviewed before on the series, is the focus of attention here, going into his background, and what turned him from animal trophy hunter to seeker and preserver, as he goes to the colder parts of the world where the creature(named yeti) has been seen by both the local natives and other explorers, who vividly recount their experiences, which are quite eerie and memorable indeed. Despite creating fear in them, not one instance of a yeti killing anyone was ever documented. Byrne's experiences would be followed up on in a segment of 'Unsolved Mysteries", and the yeti themselves were the focus of everything from a fine Hammer studios film, "The Abominable Snowman"(1957), to being one of the more popular monsters from "Doctor Who"(1963).
