Synopsis: When Ann gets an obscene phone call a detective comes and spends a few nights with her.
Larry-view: There's not much value to this one. Once again the script spends most of its time putting Ann into compromising situations with guys forced to spend the night at her apartment, Donald walking in on Ann and another guy, etc. That might have been shocking, titillating, or giggle inducing in 1966, but not anymore, so all of that value is lost. It all happens in Ann's apartment so there's no location footage. We get one hunky guest star detective. It's just not funny and that's a problem.
Someone mentioned that this episode does not use the "That Girl" gimmick in the opening, but it does. We, the audience, are who says "That Girl." They keep stretching themselves to find new ways to use this gimmick without repeating themselves. I wouldn't put it down as classic creative comedy, but it's fun.
