Anonymous "Sound Off" recordings have been made, allowing students to give their opinions in small sound bites. Work experience is arranged for sixth formers, and Steven Banks isn't too pleased to be given work with a handicapped centre, rather than his preference for a garage. Robbie makes a banner for Ziggy's rooftop climb, but there is some disagreement about the spelling of "woz 'ere". Miss Booth punishes them for abusing art materials by making them clean up, but they make an even worse mess. Julie and Fred go and see Danny Kendall, to get him to record an inaugural message. Mrs. McClusky isn't happy to find that her interview has been edited to make her meaning different. Zammo takes Jackie window shopping for engagement rings. Laura's mother is not pleased that Laura is riding pillion on Banksie's motor bike.
