Before you get the vision of G-rated Hayley Mills or Patty Duke playing twins in your head, Adam & Eve's "Double Trouble" is merely a stupid porn feature about non-identical twins whose sibling rivalry gets nasty.

An underlying gimmick employed here, which went unnoticed by me until I had watched the BTS short subject interview with star Ava Rose, is that she and Mia Rose playing the twins are in fact sisters in real-life. It proves irrelevant to the movie.

Five desultory sex scenes, with Ava book-ending the film featured having sex in the first and the last, depict the sisters and their friends having sex with current or ex-lovers of Ava and Mia. Finale is bungled by director Andre Madness (again, I was forced to listen to Ava in the BTS explain it), as the mean-spirited revenge of one sis on the other makes no sense at first viewing.

Ava also reveals that she had just signed on as an Adam & Eve contract star alongside reigning queen Carmen Luvana, but for me she is the worst of the venerable label's decades-old roster of talent. Penny Flame easily is the best performer here, though her sex-scene with over-the-hill Tony Tedeschi is made cryptic by the prominent inclusion of a full-size sex doll lurking behind the couch where they hump, as if observing the action.

The only interesting aspect of this DVD is that included in the annoying advertising footage promoting Phone Sex there is an "Orgy" line pitch featuring a young Dana Vespoli!

IMDb displays a lengthy cast list, at least a dozen of those players are not in this video, the result of including talent from Bonus archive scenes plus a mixed-up merger of listings involving an earlier feature starring Asia Carrera titled Troubled Love, not in the database due to that misguided merger. My submissions to IMDb to remove this large group of erroneous credits have been rejected so far -good luck in fighting City Hall!
