I have seen an absurd number of bad movies in my lifetime so far. This film is one of those movies. It is also one of the most fascinating films I have ever had the misfortune to watch.
If you're paying close attention to this film (and have not already had your eyes glaze over during it's runtime), throughout all of it's technical issues, odd acting, and low production values, you may notice something regarding the plot. As baffling as this film is, there IS a plot to it. And when you realize what this plot is, you're going to be even more baffled and even question why this was even a good idea to put to screenplay.
And if you are like me, and I know I am, you own a physical DVD copy of this movie. Fun fact: All the DVD copies of this movie I have ever encountered appear to all originate from New Port Ritchie and the surrounding area in Florida. They also ALL have signs of water damage on the cover and case (The film is fine, though).
And since I have a physical copy of this film, I like to sometimes have movie nights with friends that have (and have not) seen this movie before. Watching the gears turn in their heads when dawning realization kicks in of what is going on in the film will never NOT be funny.
Truly a movie (good riffing material though) for your bad movie watching nights.
