The show opens with footage of Ric Flair in a mental hospital. They will return to Flair at the Funny Farm many times during the show. We go to the arena, where Charles Robinson is consulting with James Dillon whether, as Flair's Vice President, he is now in charge of WCW. Commissioner Roddy Piper goes to the ring and makes a match with Diamond Dallas Page defending the World Championship against Sting at 9 o'clock, to go head to head against the opening of WWF Monday Nitro. Gene Okerlund interviews Charles Robinson, who claims that he, not Piper, is in charge. Diamond Dallas Page defends the World Championship against Sting. Psychosis defends the Cruiserweight Championship against Rey Mysterio, Jr. Bam Bam Bigelow squashes Erik Watts. Gene Okerlund interviews Sting, who agrees to defend his newly won World Championship at the end of the show in a four way dance. Booker T defends the TV Title against Meng. We see a segment about the knee surgery that Dr. James Andrews performed on Hollywood Hogan. Next is a hardcore match with Hak versus Horace Hogan versus Brian Knobbs versus Mikey Whipwreck. Scott Steiner defends the United States Championship against Randy Savage. We see a Gorgeous George training video. The main event is Sting defending the World Championship against Kevin Nash and Diamond Dallas Page and Goldberg in a four way match.
