Whilst at church Flora listens to the Vicar's announcements, she is stunned when she hears the publishing of the band of marriage between Horace Maddox and Cecilia Lupin! When congratulated Cissie gets very upset, Flora tries to discover why. We learn a chance meeting led to a proposal in the library, and a muddled Cissie agreed. Flora plans for Cissie to break it off, by finding someone else for Horace.
I like this episode, Cissie and Flora are as usual on top form, the characters are so in the groove. Dad's Army fans will recognise Horace, Frank Williams. Miss Rosalene Comfort is a rather fun character, and the final bag hitting scenes are really funny. It's rather different but fun. 7/10
