Without a doubt the funniest episode

Too Many Cooks is possibly the standout episode from the show, it is side splittingly funny,

Flora is having a memorial dinner for her Pigeon chested husband, who's first name she never knew. All goes from when Flora upsets the cook, who then leaves, and it falls on Flora to cook the meal, all does not go well.

The kitchen scene with Flora and Cissy is ultra funny, how Peggy manages to keep a straight face when Pat is entertaining is awesome, it is so funny, their comic timing is apparent.

Epsom salts play a big part, and the finale is hilarious. A great episode 10/10

Too Many Cooks

Flora wants to cook a dinner to her late husband's memory, Mr Petty who died a day before his 65th birthday. He never got to draw his pension and Flora never knew his first name. She is all dressed in black and wrote a poem in his memory for the local newspaper.

At least Flora used the birthday cake she baked for him for the funeral and the candles even came in handy went the power went out.

Typically due to Flora's strident attitude, the cook leaves and it is up to Flora to cook lunch, 'a Victory Roll' with Cissie helping. However mislabelled products particularly Epsom Salts wrongly put in the paste lead to rumbling tummies to the staff and residents.

This is certainly a well written and funny episode and the cast are having fun. Just do not ask Cissie to toss the salad and make white sauce.
