Taught many students the eponymous first part of the U.S. Constitution - in the mid-1980s, many teachers noted hearing students singing it under their breaths during history examinations.
Among the names on the ballot are crew members Tom Yohe, George Newall, Sal Faillace, George Cannata Jr. (minus the Jr.), and Lynn Ahrens, though the latter is misspelled. Hal Hoffer is also a choice.
Though the original Thirteen Colonies simply appear on the map from north to south, the later states do chronologically as they were established, with one exception. West Virginia formed in 1861, after many others, but to avoid viewers' confusion to see Virginia briefly in a shape they wouldn't recognize, it precedes most.
