- During combat, the player can fight enemies using a variety of melee weapons (e.g. swords, maces), ranged weapons (e.g. crossbows, guns) and magic.
- Bright flashes and sound cues to represent damage. There is no blood in combat.
- Stronger scenes of violence depict characters being stabbed or impaled with daggers and swords during gameplay and in non-interactive cinematic scenes.

- 'Final Fantasy XV' is an open world action role-playing game set in the fantasy world of Eos. The main protagonist, Noctis, Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Lucis, sets off on a road trip with his companions to wed his fiancé. While en-route, they learn that Lucis has been invaded, and must return to save their kingdom.
- Played from a third-person perspective, the player will control the main character and his party to move around and explore the open world environment.
- Characters can travel around in vehicles or on avian creatures called Chocobos.
- The story narrative is progressed via non-interactive cinematic scenes as well as in-game sequences when main missions are completed.
- The player can also complete optional side missions that involve taking photos, hunting, and fishing.
- The party will meet and interact with other non-player characters during exploration, or encounter and engage in combat against enemies and wildlife creatures.

- In one cutscene, a character is stabbed. A bloodstain is then seen around the wounded area.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- The first half of the game has a rather lighthearted atmosphere, with most of it feeling similar to a road trip. However, it gets increasingly darker and emotional towards the end.
