Westworld and Saturday Night Live led the pack on 22 nominations each as the 69th Primetime Emmys nominations were announced on Thursday morning.
Anna Chlumsky and Shemar Moore presented the nomination ceremony from the Wolf Theatre at the Television Academy’s Saban Media Centre.
The 69th Primetime Emmy Awards will take place on September 17 at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, with Stephen Colbert on hosting duties.
Last year The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story was the big winner of the night, scooping five awards. Game Of Thrones won three prizes including outstanding drama series with Veep winning outstanding comedy series.

Justin Hartley, most recently known for his role as Oliver Queen -- aka the Green Arrow -- on the CW's Smallville, has inked a talent holding deal with the network.
Hartley's association with the CW extends beyond Smallville, which he was tapped to join in 2006 starting with the show's sixth season. He also played the title role in the network's Aquaman pilot, which had been in contention for fall 2006, and more recently was in the CW pilot Spellbound as well as the network's Eight Days a Week.
His credits include the upcoming Warner Bros. feature film Spring Breakdown opposite Amy Poehler, Will Arnett, Parker Posey and Rachel Dratch.
Hartley is repped by Innovative Artists and managers Ted Gekis and Daniel Ribera.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas for Christina Milian.
The actress-singer is attached to star alongside Matt Keeslar ("Scream 3") in the ABC Family telefilm "Snowglobe", which begins production at month's endjuly in Calgary, Canada.
"Snowglobe", one of two original telefilms debuting this year during ABC Family's "25 Days of Christmas", follows a woman who finds she can magically leave the real world behind for the Christmas-themed dreamland in her grandmother's snow globecq. Keeslar plays a love interest she encounters inside the globe.
"Santa Baby" writer Garrett Frawley and Brian Turner penned the script, Ron Lagomarsino will direct, and Craig McNeil and Jody Brockway will executive produce.
Milian's recent acting credits include the TV series "Eight Days a Week" and the feature films "Pulse" and "Be Cool". She also contributed to the soundtracks of "In the Mix", "Be Cool", "The Hot Chick" and the Disney Channel animated series "Kim Possible". She is repped by Endeavor, manager Adena Chawke and attorney Steve Warren.

The CW has picked up the comedy pilot Eight Days a Week to series with a 12-episode midseason order.
The single-camera comedy, whose ensemble cast includes Christina Milian and Mario Lopez, revolves around four twentysomethings who work under the top movers and shakers in New York.
CBS Paramount Network TV, Warner Bros. TV and Hazy Mills are producing the project, which is executive produced by Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner.
Meredith Lavender and Marcie Ulin penned the pilot and serve as producers.
Eight Days joins another new CW comedy, the single-camera Aliens in America, which the network picked up last month for a fall launch.
