Bearing in mind that Jeeva's previous ventures - 12B and Ullam Ketkume - had some content in spite of being rip-offs, Unnale Unnale looked like an easy-going rom-com and stays that way. However, the film is a collage of successful Bollywood rom-coms and offers no originality. The actors take up the genre as a serious one, including Sadha, whose character, Jhansi is a grumpy one. For a debut, Vinay does a good job. But, for Tanisha Mukherjee, she sways around being the mantelpiece of Jeeva's work of art. With a delightful album, Harris Jayaraj delivers again. Unnale Unnale becomes your usual love triangle, bearing in mind that it is not original.
