Separated from her mother, a young girl is lost in the swarming crowds of the Minnesota State Fair. She wanders the fairgrounds, searching. Ultimately, she comes upon another lost child -- a younger boy hiding in the shadows behind the Midway. The two join forces and search for their parents. When they call upon fair workers for help, they find the workers too busy to care. They resort to "borrowing" the bullhorn from the fair workers, and they resolutely climb atop a table and call out through the bullhorn. The boy's calls are answered, and his mother comes running. A happy ending for the boy leaves the girl alone to call out for her mother through the bullhorn...
