This gets off to a very funny start as Popeye, Olive, Swee Pea and a dog are all at the top of "Echo Peak," apparently a mountain in the French Alps. Popeye tests the "echo" and the echo comes back with a French accent and even completes Popeye's famous song for him. (You have to hear it, to appreciate it.)
Anyway, there they are on the top of the mountain with Popeye in nothing but his sailor duds; Olive in a big raccoon coat, Swee Pea in his pajama on a sled and the dog on skis!
The story involves Olive getting her beloved raccoon coat stolen by the "Quasimoto, the halfback of Notre Dame" who also is the official echo-man of the mountain. He is plan is to freeze Olive, Swee Pea and Popeye and stay warm all winter with the coat.
That leaves "Bernie," the dog to come to the rescue. I didn't know Popeye had a door, or was this mutt rented for the ski vacation? This was a cute little Popeye cartoon, one of the better King Features ones of the early '60s. (Of course, they weren't much....but, nonetheless, this was still entertaining in a simple way.)
