Sup' Lexie

Warning: Spoilers
Strong performance by Sara Ramirez (Callie) this episode. Really impressive. And btw, I think she is almost more beautiful without make up! I liked the case with Ruthie.

I don't like that they had to use another Camille. In my mind I can't make them out to be the same person. I also think it's too bad we never hear about her again. She is probably dying pretty soon, and they could have at least mentioned it later on.

Norman is still a great addition to all the cold surgeon type people on the show. He's just light and warm.

Powerful but sad

Warning: Spoilers
In some ways this episode ruined my weekend because it was so powerful! I could have given it 10 out of 10 if it were not for the obvious flaws. In the previous episode George finally told his wife Callie that he slept with Izzie and this episode starts after he has told her. In the opening scene Callie unexpectedly forgives George. This starts the theme of the episode of forgiveness. The medical cases mirror this theme with an injured woman who became this way because her boyfriend made her lose weight and the old intern Norman giving the wrong patient advice to name two of the four cases in the episode. The episode has an amazing performance by Sara Ramirez as the devastated wife who wants to blame everyone but her husband for his infidelity. There is also a nice speech by Derek about his lasting love for Meredith but it seems was only there to make the episode more light hearted. Izzie also does something early in the episode that seems to be only there for the shock factor.

Double standards
nadjanadja-791735 November 2021
I really hate what Derek did to Christina! She was right to yell at Lexie, she did something to compromise the health of a patient and everyone would have reacted the same way. But, because Lexie is a Grey she is protected. When have we ever seen any other resident get yelled at by an attending? In the previous episode Bailey made a speech about yelling at interns because they learn that way and these are life and death situations. And on the other hand Meredith makes a huge error and she's just fine? Christina is the absolute best character in this show, furthermore Sandra Oh is the best actress in this show! Love her!

But the episode is ok, mainly thanks to Alex(Justin Chambers) and Callie (Sara Ramirez) who were really good.

Not Together Now

Warning: Spoilers
This Episode begins with George, he just told Callie that he had sex with Izzie. Callie forgives George for what he did. Camille has been brought to the hospital, she is Richard his niece. Derek is flirting with Lexie, Meredith sees this. Camille doesn't want a treatment anymore. Adele don't wants to lose Camille, she wants that Richard convinces Camille to make another choice. Lexie helped Derek with a surgery. Ruthie died in surgery, she was puking blood. Callie confronts Izzie with her actions. Derek says to Meredith that he wants to marry with her, but he will wait when Meredith is ready for it. Nice Episode of Grey's Anatomy Season 4, Meredith and Derek will not be together now. But we will see what the future will bring!

Christina?
geohv-6779626 May 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This tv series deals with so many destructive humans behaviours but it fails to deal with the fact that the character of Christina is possessive of Meredith to the point that she always makes sure to inject herself between anyone that she thinks might get too close to her. For Christina to feel good about herself being emotionally dysfunctional she needs to keep someone else down with her and she has clearly picked Meredith as she early on recognized that Meredith had a lot of baggage from here childhood.
