It’s hard to believe that season 9 of “The Masked Singer” has seen the departure of eight celebrities already. Exclusive: Holly Robinson Peete is staying in the Hallmark Family. The actress has signed a multi-picture deal that includes exclusivity on holiday movies with Crown Media Family Networks.
“Since her first movie with Hallmark in 2015, Holly’s intelligence, vulnerability and tireless advocacy work have made her one of our networks’ most beloved talents, on screen and off,” said Lisa Hamilton Daly, Executive Vice President, Programming, Crown Media Family Networks. “We are so happy to continue making movies with Holly and to be her official home for original television movies at Christmas.”

Christmas in July will return to Hallmark bringing Crashing Through The Snow, starring Amy Acker and Warren Christie, to the lineup.
The annual summer movie celebration will kick off Friday, July 9 and will run until Sunday, July 31. Crashing Through The Snow will make its Hallmark debut Friday, July 10 at 9 p.m. The film centers on Maggie (Acker), who joins her ex-husband Jeff (Kristian Brunn) and his girlfriend Kate (Brooke Nevin) for a Christmas getaway in Aspen, where she meets Kate’s brother, Sam (Warren Christie).
Crashing Through the Snow is from Through the Snow Pictures Inc. Stan Spry, Eric Woods and Ryan M. Murphy are executive producers. Anthony Fankhauser is co-executive producer.
This year’s lineup will also include a 2020 Movie Marathon, Soap Sunday and Countdown to Christmas Greatest Hits, which will feature holiday movies including The Christmas Ring and Crown for Christmas.

Crown Media’s executive vice president of programming Michelle Vicary will step down from her position in June, the company announced Monday.
“We thank Michelle for her contributions to the growth and success of our networks and for helping to bring the quintessential Hallmark brand to life,” Wonya Lucas, CEO Crown Media Family Networks, said in a statement. “We appreciate the passion and effort she has brought to our team and to the company.”
Randy Pope, senior vice president of programming and development, and Darren Melameth, senior vice president of programming and content strategy, will serve as interim co-leads while the company embarks on a search for Vicary’s replacement.
Vicary is a two-decade-plus veteran of Crown Media, having originally joined the company as manager of programming and promo scheduling before working her way up to executive vice president.
