Funny early Slapstick

Warning: Spoilers
As this film has no ratings or reviews I though I would do one.

It is an early Max Linder comedy, with Andre Deeds, who both are normally funny in their films & this is no exception. The plot involves a well bred woman having her feet done by her chiropodist 'Andre Deeds', & then being visited by her lover 'Max Linder' Lady sends chiropodist to kitchen whilst canoodling with lover, when hubby returns leading to all confusion & fun as Max is mistaken for the Chiropodist.

Film gets wilder as it goes along, & is very reminiscent of the latter slapstick comedies, & you can see why Chaplin liked Max Linder. The only problem with the film is the film quality is not great & it seems to jump a lot in scenes, making me think a lot is missing from the film. If there is a fuller version which is cleaned up, this would be a very nice little comedy from this period. As it is it is still fun to watch for a few spare minutes.
