With the British Royal family being from German ancestry , whose family [German] name being Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, and changed [17th July 1917] to Windsor, to appease the English populace, it was possible that the reasoning behind the mistrust of the Royal family, by the British Secret Service, was their, possible and alleged, family-ties and connections to the German Aristocracy and its Royal families and furthermore England's former king King Edward VIII Duke of Windsor and his very close ties to, and within, Nazi Germany.
