Antoine, a widower of a certain age, is having a passionate affair with the beautiful, and much younger, Maria. Antoine who lives in the country, is surprised to find the arrival of his children. He had forgotten the anniversary of his wife's death coming up, thus the intrusion of his family that interrupts his life, without a clue about what is really going on with him. Maxime, his son comes with Helene and two children. Alice arrives alone from Paris. Julien, the only son who has stayed close to his origins, is the only one of Antoine's children that lives near the father.
