Oh my goodness, did no one listen to the finished product? The background music is soooooo loud that I can hardly hear what they are saying! I love this concept (except for the fake layers - styrofoam cake? Heck no!) but my head is pounding from the absolutely horrible music! It drowns out the kids comments. It would also have been more of a challenge if the cake makers were not able to see what the other cake artist is making. I love the concept of each cake artist being given their cake design that is drawn by the birthday child. It's a shame that some artists chose to put their own thoughts before the creativity of the child!

I don't think the bakers should be allowed to use the fake styrofoam layers in their cakes because basically they're lying to the customers when they say "it's a 5 layer cake " and then the bottom 2 layers are just styrofoam layers covered with icing.... Cus technically it's only a 3 layer cake and 2 fake styrofoam layers and it's deceiving and unfair for the child who doesn't know the bottom of the cake is fake styrofoam and it's not fair for the baker who is using the fake styrofoam layers to win, when the other baker uses real cake layers for every layer..... it's not right!!!' It's called "Best Cake Wins" not " Best Fake Styrofoam Cake Wins " right..... and I'm a mother of four children 2 boys and 2 girls and all of my children think it's not fair and it's not right for the bakers to be allowed to use the fake styrofoam in their so called "cakes "
