The Titanic star gained much recognition as a thriller actor back in 2006, with his The Departed and Blood Diamond receiving much praise from the critics, who emphasized DiCaprio's fitting in the genre. However, there is a 2010 movie which consolidated the actor’s belonging to thrillers, showing how convincing he is at revealing the twists.
Adapted from Dennis Lehane’s 2003 novel, this thriller’s plot revolves around a Deputy U.S. Marshal Teddy Daniels (DiCaprio), who explores the disappearance of a patient from a psychiatric facility on an isolated island. It’s already enough for the movie to be of great interest to the audience, as such a setting promises quite a chilling roller coaster.
DiCaprio's fans have already recognized the synopsis of Shutter Island. However, the movie’s beginning is only playing with us and is preparing for the final twist, which still blows fans’ minds. It’s most curious...

Warning: contains major spoilers for the Guilt series three finale.
Guilt finales are dense with action and surprise. Creator Neil Forsyth masterfully draws together threads from multiple plots, while secrets and betrayals come tumbling out to trip up the characters’ plans. Only one thing is certain: even if you are able to predict who’ll come out on top, you won’t be able to predict how they’ll get there.
In its third and final series, Guilt put Max and Jake McCall through the wringer once again, as they dodged gangsters, got embroiled in an international financial scam, and underwent a tricky but ultimately therapeutic reunion with their estranged dad. Eventually though, they and everybody else who deserved it found the escape – and hopefully, the peace – they’d been looking for. With major spoilers for anybody who hasn’t already binged all four episodes on BBC iPlayer, here’s how it all played out.

ReviewD Imman’s background score valiantly tries to add some suspense to this Shakti Soundar Rajan film. But with the hopeless acting and unoriginal screenplay, it is a lost battle.Sowmya RajendranCredit: YouTube/ Think Music IndiaThere is something to be said about director Shakti Soundar Rajan’s obsession with making the ‘first’ movie of its kind in Tamil cinema. His last outing Teddy was the “first Tamil film to use an Indian animation company to design a special animated character”. But while his previous experiments sound more impressive on paper – the first Tamil film to feature a dog as the main character; the first Tamil zombie film; and the first Tamil space film – they were quite disappointing in execution. In this grand line comes Captain, which I suppose one can call “the first Tamil film to liberally copy from Predator and other Hollywood movies and make a mess of it...

Grey’s Anatomy, which has successfully reinvented itself multiple times going through numerous casting changes, is headed to another transformational season, with star Ellen Pompeo scaling back her on-screen presence to eight episodes and five new additions joining the cast, Harry Shum Jr., Adelaide Kane, Alexis Floyd, Niko Terho, and Midori Francis.
The hit ABC medical drama has released a first-look video introducing the new characters — all first-year surgical residents –and giving a glance at some of the new dynamics at Grey Sloan, which was ordered to disband and rebuild its teaching program in the Season 18 finale.
The video (you can watch it below) starts with Pompeo’s Meredith, the hospital’s interim Chief Of Surgery, giving the new group a tour. It is indicated that the interns are “diamonds in the rough” who may not have been accepted elsewhere but given a chance at Grey Sloan.

Grey’s Anatomy’s Season 18 finale left the fate of several major characters in limbo, leaving fans to fret over the summer if their favorites are coming back.
Deadline already broke the news that star Ellen Pompeo will be scaling back her on-screen presence, appearing in eight episodes next season while remaining an executive producer. Also switching from a series regular to recurring status for Season 19 is Scott Speedman. The news is not surprising; the former Animal Kingdom star had signed a one-year series regular contract for Season 18 as a romantic interest for Pompeo’s Meredith. At the end of the Season 18 finale, Meredith and Speedman’s Nick had a falling out, she told him that he should probably go back to Minnesota. He walked out, she eventually ran after him but he was gone in one of the finale’s many cliffhangers.

Note: The following contains spoilers for “Westworld” Season 4, Episode 7.
“Westworld” viewers know well enough by now that “dead” doesn’t always mean dead in the HBO sci-fi series, but Episode 7 of Season 4 sure seemed to seal the fate of one of the series’ most beloved characters.
Since returning from the Sublime, Bernard has maintained that after running simulations, there is only one way to save the world – and in that scenario, he doesn’t make it out alive. After teaming up with a revived Maeve (Thandiwe Newton) to take on Charlotte Hale (Tessa Thompson) and her tower that has human citizens of New York City under control, Bernard was confronted by the William host (Ed Harris) and subsequently shot to death.
When asked by TheWrap if Bernard is dead in a recent interview about the episode, Wright replied simply, “It seems so.”

ReviewIn comparison to Shakti Soundar Rajan's previous films, the writing in ‘Teddy’ is better but the film still takes liberal leaps with logic. Sowmya RajendranScreengrabShakti Soundar Rajan is fond of introducing genres to Tamil cinema. Apart from claiming to have made the first Tamil bank heist film (Naanayam), he's also made the first Tamil zombie apocalypse film (Miruthan) and the first Tamil space film (Tik Tik Tik). Coming in this line-up is the first Tamil teddy bear film, Teddy. Starring Arya, Sayyeshaa and an overstuffed teddy bear, Teddy is about a young woman, Sree (Sayyeshaa) who turns into a teddy bear and has her human form simultaneously abducted by some evil forces. Arya plays Shiva, a bespectacled genius with a photographic memory. He can not only learn Russian in a jiffy, he's also a seasoned martial arts specialist. He only has 12 friends on Facebook and is leading a content life till he meets Sree.

Roger Mudd, the longtime CBS News correspondent and anchor who later teamed briefly with Tom Brokaw on NBC Nightly News, has died. He was 93.
Mudd died Tuesday of kidney failure at his home in McLean, Va, according to CBS News.
With a to-the-point style, Mudd was a familiar face for decades on network television, starting on CBS in the early 1960s, as he reported on Congress, politics and government. He became a star correspondent and filled in for Walter Cronkite in the anchor chair in the late 1960s and early 1970s and on the weekend CBS Evening News broadcasts.
But no moment stood out more in Mudd’s career than an interview he did in 1979 with Sen. Edward Kennedy, readying a challenge to President Jimmy Carter for the Democratic nomination. Mudd’s question was short and a bit of a softball — “Why do you want to be president?” — but Kennedy...

With the state of things these days, Fantastic Fest has gone virtual for 2020, and here are my thoughts on two of the films that helped kick off the festivities this week: Teddy, from the directing duo of Ludovic and Zoran Boukherma, and Girl, which features both Bella Thorne and Mickey Rourke.
Teddy: As someone who has a deep love for anything lycanthrope-related, I really enjoyed what Ludovic and Zoran Boukherma were able to do with Teddy. The film hits all the beats you’d expect from a coming-of-age werewolf story, but the directors come at these tropes in a very unique way, making Teddy a thoughtful and heartfelt examination of a young man who has lost his place in this world that also delivers up some gnarly body horror moments and a sizeable body count to boot.
The film follows the titular character (played by Anthony Bajon) who lives in a remote village in France.

Grey’s Anatomy is kicking off November Sweeps by going to war, and it’s deploying four major characters to the front lines.
TVLine has learned exclusively that the ABC drama’s Oct. 26 episode, titled “Danger Zone,” will be told almost entirely in flashback and chronicle the events leading up to Megan’s (Abigail Spencer) kidnapping in Iraq. In addition to Spencer, the standalone hour will also feature Kevin McKidd’s Owen, Martin Henderson’s Nathan and Kim Raver’s Teddy. (Check out an exclusive first look above.) I’m told the episode — penned by staff writer Jalysa Conway and directed...
