The research was conducted in Hawai'i by Jonna. Brennan Callan, a fellow member of an astronautic club was in Louisville, KY and they brainstormed the project. As Brennan had worked with Lionel Fanthorpe of Cardith, Wales, United Kingdom for several years on many projects, there was an implicit trust that Lionel, a professional orator with many other titles to his name, could be wonderful at reading and doing the Voice-Over sound track for this film. It only took a request and a quick answer to assemble our winning-team. This project literally went around one-half of the world to be completed, but involving Lionel was wonderful. He had spent his 60+ year career researching and writing sci-fi books and now he could be doing the sound track for a film about a science project that might honestly get accomplished in our lifetime on Mars. That is why he had to be involved because it helped transition his life dreams and goals into a reality that might be in just a couple of years. It was a logical step for him to participate and it was Brennan's pleasure to involve his friend on another adventure together.
As Lionel Fanthorpe has also been a professional broadcaster, he already had quality microphones and digital recording equipment at his house. This made it much easier for Brennan to receive the file and integrate it into the film which we had only a short time to have completed and submitted for the contest. The film was timely filed.
