Not worthy of renewing! PLEASE CANCEL THIS SHOW!

I have no idea how anyone in their right mind could withstand 5 minutes of this show. Just by listening to these brothers talk, you can tell that they are clearly uneducated and of course, will never find anything in the end. What a waste of time and money, Travel Channel, investing in this idiotic show.

Very weak in content AND presentation.

This was so vacuous as to be ridiculous. Because there was lichen on rocks on a cairn, they concluded that it must have been built by Spaniards. Because there was rock art in an area, they concluded that humans once lived there. And because animals were depicted as well, WOW! ANIMALS WERE HERE ONCE!! They categorized Aztecs and Native Americans as unrelated. (Aztecs originated in the Americas"). They decided that "THEY (we don't know who "they" are) sure left something somewhere around here." How is that for deep scientific revelation!! They hiked for 2 days to search a very small rock ledge and since there was no gold there, they concluded that no Aztecs nor Spaniards had ever been there. By simply viewing some rock art, they immediately analyzed that they were 10,000 years old. Simply by viewing that there was charcoal in a cave "This cave could have been from the dawn of the Aztecs!". This was truly awful.

Nah...

Ive watched a few episodes now and for the most part this seems like a couple brothers just figured out a easy to go camping without having to spend their own money. They never come closer to finding anything and yet they always seem to be congratulating themselves at the end.

Can't decide if this is meant to be a comedy...

Warning: Spoilers
...or a serious show. Each episode consists of two brothers making wild assumptions and playing with gadgets whilst travelling across North & South America. I've not laughed so much at a show like this since I saw Josh Gates go swimming with reef sharks - some of the most placid sharks of all, but he acted like they were all 18m Great Whites. I guess the brothers need some kudos for getting a production company to actually hand over a couple of big bags of cash to produce an entire series. I wouldn't mind spending my time travelling across the American continent, making up stories, camping under the stars & getting to play with some 'toys'. So if you're up for a laugh give it a watch, but if you're looking to improve your intelligence give it a wide berth. By the way, Spoiler Alert - they don't find anything other than old beer cans, nails and some rebar...surprise, surprise. Oh and some spiders, but definitely no treasure.

Another Lack Luster Travel Channel show, with a catchy name!

Like Expedition Unknown, Code of the Wild is another show that promises excitement and finding lost treasure! Both shows end with nothing exciting being found and most of all no lost treasure is found on either! However both shows hosts end the show like they have made some sufficient discovery, those poor dulled souls! Code of the Wild is so poor watched that even IMDB does not have a full list episodes! One such missing episode is Dutch Schultz's Missing Millions! The brothers did not find any money, only some rusting junk which they concluded could have been used to make bootleg whiskey or more likely just have been farm junk and the remains of an old Huppmobile a car that was last produced in 1939!

I tried watching 2 episodes, but could not get to the end of either. Horrible programming based on making stuff up and drawing ridiculous conclusions. If I could rate this show lower than 1, I would.
