For the 2nd Tip of Christmas Valentina Vee gave to me...a tip about how the order you stack your video effects will affect the speed at which you are able to render. According to Valentina, the heaviest effects should go first in your effects stack. These are things like noise reduction, stabilization, and optical flow re-timing. When they are the first in the stack, it should make rendering faster. In apps like After Effects and DaVinci Resolve, you can even cache or pre-render heavy effects that are in the beginning of your effects stack. This makes things like color grading possible even after applying noise reduction or stabilization.
