- TriviaWhen preparing to lead Larry and the other refugee employees to safety, Taggart quips that the GD defense system "has made one of the classic blunders: never go up against an Australian, when death is on the line!" With exception of his nationality, this is taken, verbatim, from Wallace Shawn's famous line in "The Princess Bride" (1987). Shawn's character in the film is Sicilian.
- GoofsWhen the 'down periscope' display at Carter's house is reading the life signs of the three in Global Dynamics, the temperature shows "Temperature °C" (Celsius) even though the reading shows what the temperature would be in Fahrenheit (°F) as their body temperatures are claimed to be close to the boiling point of water.

Part Awesome Part Annoying
A Night in Global Dynamics picks up immediately upon the ending from All That Glitters. All heck is breaking lose in GD, there is a health crisis with the potential to wipe out the town, Beverly, Allison, Henry, and Kevin are trapped in a safe bunker, and the DoD is threatening to purge GD of all life - and that's how the episode begins. After that we are split into three distinct groups of characters, each wth a very different tone and varying levels of believability. Therein lies the problem. Two groups are smart, very very funny, and exhibit behavior that would actually be fairly reasonable in the real world (and is completely reasonable in a sci-fi plot). Group number three, while important to the tidying up of the season's story arc, behaves so remarkably stupidly and unpleasantly that they drag the entire episode down. Just couldn't wait for that plot point to be over. A successful season two of Eureka overall, but not the best ending. Let's hope for a strong and creative season three.
