I don't normally watch short films and I really enjoyed it. I highly recommend you see it. It was a very good short film with some laughs and surprises, one in particular that really I had no expectation for. It had unique characters like pookie, the druggy guy and Chuck. It had a bunch of funny moments, some were a little stupid funny, but funny. And it was also nice to see the behind the scenes and outtakes of the film. It allowed me to see how they filmed it, the actors and who the director was. I am even more impressed with what they did given this is not a big budget film. You can tell from their actions and responses showed that the actors took to the director and had good chemistry. And since I am not too familiar with short films, it seems impressive that they filmed it in aprox 8-10 days.

A bit better than its current score on IMDb

This is a short comedy about four losers who want to do some shoplifting at the local grocery store. However, the whole affair is handled in many ways like a "big caper" picture like RAFIFI or GRAND SLAM. The split-second timing, planning and seriousness of the endeavor is ludicrous and makes the film likable--even if sometimes the seemed to try a bit too hard to be kooky. The story idea isn't bad, but having a "funny huffer" (a guy who is addicted to inhalants) isn't really funny and some of the jokes fall very flat. However, for a film made by new film makers and actors, it does show quite a bit of promise. Perhaps with some more experience, these people could go on to bigger and brighter things.

Overall verdict, despite its rough spots and occasionally forced humor, the film is likable and a diverting film.
