As Renee's delivery date approaches, Scott's anxieties about becoming a father go from bad to worse. Feeling completely unprepared to become a parent, he quits his Daddies to be class, and calls an emergency meeting with his old life coach, Doc Ali. She tells Scott that he's missing out on all the best parts of becoming a dad, and must "Get on the Ride" -- or risk letting these life changing moments pass him by. Along the way, Scott also has to console a depressed Johnny V, reconnect with his soon to be step-daughter, and attend a new age birthing class that sends him and Renee straight to the delivery room.

Scott and Renee begin the process of moving into their massive new house. When Renee starts barking orders at Scott, he begins to feel some apprehension about the whole sha-bang; living with Renee, having a daughter, losing his freedoms. Later, when he refuses to disclose his anxieties with the Daddy's-To-Be-Class, Scott is encouraged to find someone to share his feelings with, before they overwhelm him. The next day, Scott & Renee join Johnny V on a blind date. When the night turns into a complete disaster because of Johnny V's antics, Scott briefly feels better about his own situation; that is until the following morning. Once again, Renee is busting his chops, and constant reminders of the coming baby send him back into panic mode. His brain is filled with unwelcome thoughts, and his frustration grows as he struggles to find someone to help assuage his fears.

Scott, now back in his Daddies To Be class, decides to embrace fatherhood and become more responsible. After successfully singing Bailey to sleep, he offers to help Renee stuff invitations for the wedding. Within an hour, Scott goes from just helping out, to being in charge of the entire wedding. Looking to stay on his road to responsibility, Scott heads over to his agent's office looking work, and soon he is auditioning for a new animated project. Unfortunately, Scott's chances of getting the role are compromised when Johnny arrives and starts causing a scene. Nevertheless, with the wedding just around the corner, Scott and the guys continue on with their plan to hit the open road on motorcycles and celebrate Scott's "low key bachelor party" out in the middle of nowhere.

Baby Bailey has finally arrived, and Scott couldn't be any happier-or anymore unprepared, for that matter. Because of this, Renee hires an English baby nurse, to help around the house while she is recovering and to teach Scott a thing or two about raising a baby. Upon arrival, the baby nurse, Helen, immediately has a set of rules and regimens for Scott. She informs Scott she will be staying until he can handle things on his own. Scott knows the longer Helen is in the house, the more she will annoy him. So, he decides to show her that not only can he be the most responsible father, but a bona-fide Superdad.
