This is an amazingly powerful film. I saw this film within a compilation of short films at a showing for the LGTB film festival, Frameline. Once I was home, this is one of the films that I could recall with crystal clarity.
It took a second to realize that the shots of the young woman was actually a flashback for the older woman. But I thought the flashbacks worked beautifully to fill in the blanks.
The ending leaves you wondering and allows each person to make their own decision about what has just happened.
