The sequel / remake of the cartoon series from the 1980s that seems to me has been long awaited by fans who wanted to see the sequel to the story of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.
The animation is great, the movements are fluid and the whole atmosphere is great.
As for the appearance of the characters, some have improved and some have gotten worse. The look of Prince Adam himself is awkward, it just doesn't fit into the whole story and tone of the series.
The voice actors chosen for the characters are good, especially Lena Headey who is excellent as Evil-Lyn. From a technical point of view, the show is not bad, but unfortunately that is the only thing that is good.
What's bad is the story, it's just too slow and given the number of episodes and the duration of some, the show seems too long, and that's a sign that something isn't right. Some characters are only there to meet the demands of the producers. Unfortunately, the show suffers from the usual flaws and clichés of today's film production, and the story of course suffers because of this and further degrades the overall impression of the series.
The dialogues seem forced, as if to fill the time and for the most part the show is boring. The first episode is promising, but after that it seems like there's a lot of pointless, artificial dialogue that serves as a filler. I didn't watch the second part, I just don't care, because there's no point in wasting time on some boring and poorly written show.
The potential is there, but unfortunately this seems like another missed opportunity.
