My expectations were low, but it's actually ok to watch
seronjaa-797-3131247 March 2021
When I saw that this show is about people helping some celebrities to organize their homes, I didn't even want to see one episode. But since there are almost no home edit, interior design or garden design shows left on Netflix, I almost didn't have a choice thant to watch this. The show is actually watchable and it keeps you interested. The girls are ok, if you ignore the hysterical screaming and jumping around like 12-year old girls after they organized someone's closet. I really liked the part, where they organized normal people's houses and rooms. I don't think many people can relate to celebrities and their organizing problems. The problem is, that most episodes are just closet organizations. I was hoping for whole house organizations or more difficult and messy rooms, more purging, consulting with the clients and some innovative ideas- especially affordable or sustainable ideas. Some of them don't seem very practical, but are just pretty... What upsets me is the episode, where they organized a woman's closet and then decided to "give her a little extra", so they painted her bedroom, upholstered the beautiful pink bed in a dull grey and changed the furniture, curtains and carpet in her bedroom?! Why would someone do that?! I think it's horribly unprofessional to just go ahead and paint someone else's room, because your job was to just organize the closet. If i were the lady in the show, I would go mad. And sometimes the organizing ladies are not very empathetic to other people's "messy" habbits and they seem like they judge people. That's not ok.

Good ideas and motivation to organize but...
miminorton6 April 2022
I liked the ideas to organize spaces; but, the ladies talk over each other all the time so you can't hear what they are saying. Too much loud fast talking. It is not relaxing to watch. I noticed in other reviews people felt much the same about the talking over each other and the loudness. I think the ladies need to really remedy that or the show is not going to last. Watching a few episodes was enough for me unless they stop screaming and talking over each other.

not awful
shirlone3 April 2022
I watched the first season of this and i enjoyed it. I am on the second episode of the second season and finding it kind of boring. The hosts aren't that bad but they do like to talk over each other. If you don't like shows like this one, don't watch them. It really doesn't deserve the low ratings. Their products are comparable with Walmart, Target and Amazon but I think you'd be better off going to one of those places. This show is just average and worth watching at least one episode.

I love this kind of shows but I hate this
Atheer_alharbi7 April 2021
At first I thought I would like it but I couldn't even complete the first Episode.

That's a shame bc I was looking forward to it It's reminded me of the Korean show (The House Detox) it started the same year and I like it so much more.

Same idea about organizing and decluttering Korean celebrity houses but it was really genuine and likable.

For one un Korea the housing is so small even for people who are Are comfortable financially. So it's really working with making as much space as possible with a fun and calm atmosphere.

If you like these kind of shows please chick it out (The House Detox)

It inspired me
pennypalmore-2500414 September 2020
Inspiration is what I was looking for and they did inspire me to tackle a few things in my own home. I don't get all the hateful reviews, as I found their overhauls to be clean and streamlined. They have a huge team, so it's not like it's just those two ladies, but I found them to be fine and not obnoxious like some of the negative reviews have said. Too many people are cynical and hateful these days, but give them a break. They are doing things that some of us other less organized/visionary mortals can tackle as easily as they can. Again, it gave me tips and inspiration to at least try to make my home a bit more functional.

Hosts are not likeable at all.
hesionka11 September 2020
An obnoxious and loud show that nobody asked for. Every episode in a nutshell: they buy bunch of acrylic containers and stuff everything in it and arrange it to rainbow colours. Then, people scream "omg" like 100 times. You are welcome.

Cute! Not sure why it's getting such low reviews...
jjaques-4920413 September 2020
Really cute show. Especially once you get past the second episode. Love their product line as well. I would give it a try and not listen to all these bad reviews.

Obnoxious and unhelpful
ericanaess12 September 2020
If you wanted another Marie Kondo type show, then you will be disappointed. I barely managed to get through the end of the first episode.

The worst part is that there isn't really anything helpful. So as a viewer, if you're looking for advice on how to organize your own home, you're not going to get it.

I felt like anyone could easily do what they had done. I kept waiting for the part where they would give advice or tips, but there aren't really any.

As for the hosts...My husband said it well: it's like they have to constantly talk to fill the space, but don't have anything to say. Honestly they're what I hope people abroad don't think all Americans sound like. It's embarrassing.

I want another season of Marie Kondo instead.

If you make it to the 2nd episode, it's a great show!
anna_mple-193-35039326 October 2020
Yes Clea is loud but you ll get used to her in time. Other than her loudness she is quite alright, i love their bond with Joanna they are a great duo. Their organization skills are remarkable, they have done impressive work in most of the show. I would definitely watch a 2nd season.

Give It A Chance
stacie-mendel24 September 2020
Like any show like this, it takes a couple episodes to get a flow. As the shows go on, they do organize more relatable spaces and they do give helpful tips.

So awful
juliasmbc13 September 2020
I have never written a review before because I've never felt strongly enough about a show to do it but this is just too horrible I feel like I have to save someone from watching this show. Firstly, the hosts are so loud and overbearing I'm surprised they can get anything done with how much they speak over one another. Secondly, they aren't even doing anything special! I thought they would be coming up with creative ways to display costumes and gowns for Reese in the first episode but they basically just hung stuff up. You'd think with red carpet gowns you would want to display them and light them well but they're just stacked on top of each other like any other closet. Also, Clea's handwriting is not that good yet she is so braggy about it and constantly cuts other people off. I'm so mad I even watched 20 minutes of this show.

Good inspiring show
detail-9835719 August 2021
I cannot tell whether this is what the hosts really are, but I quite like their attitudes to their job and the customers. So passionate and inspiring. It is still a show, not a tutorial of editing your place out, which means they simply show you how they deal with the Home Edit project rather than teach you step by step. Don't be mistaken. There are philosophy and methods, but viewers have to dig in by their own. Overall, it's a great inspiring show, which I would like to see more tutorials in the next season.

Want to hear the word "like" 500 times in 24 minutes?
jamesravenwood13 September 2020
You know those groups of women that talk quickly , talk over each other , and say "oh my god" and make id1otic jokes and use the word "like" a lot and talk like valley girls and yammer back and forth and cackle ? Also a lot of dead pan jokes that aren't funny. It's that and it's like nails on chalk board. When is Marie Kondos next season coming out ?

Can definitely watch it once
jenasenan10 February 2022
For those who have not organised the shelves but simply used them, this show would give you lots of ideas. You can pick those that you like to use at home. Like twisted s hooks, rotating shelves, cycle stand etc. After a few episodes you kind of get the idea of how its going to be. That's when you begin to wait for the before and after look which appears in the end. But you can watch it once to learn or to kill time. They are extremely energetic. That vibe stays always.

This show is an insult to anyone who is mildly organized
inesferreira-567009 September 2020
The show is basically a bunch of women on Adderall organizing closets in the most basic way possible, and making it sound like it's a task for a brain surgeon.

Great design/organizing tips
jrigler-521455 April 2022
I have gained some true insight into better organizing my home to make it more attractive and functional. The variety of spaces they deal with is great; I even bought some of the same products since their organization skills have inspired me.

However, the insane shrieking and forced banter is beyond annoying. I usually mute my computer when they start that. And why do they wear jeans all the time?? At least in season 2 Clea has had her makeup professionally done- good choice.

Aside from Clea's truly obnoxious personality, this show is very entertaining and helpful. I would love a season 3, but I hope someone can convince them not to act like 13-year olds. Fabulous ideas and products and great results- the girls just need to chill.

Care factor zero
jamesgavinmelb11 September 2020
So, in a nutshell, a bunch of celebrities need their closets of expensive clothes cleaned-up because they have too much (boo hoo). In come the girls and put some items with same colours together, put some things into clear boxes with basic fancy writing to identify whats in the clear box, and then do what the celebrities' maids probably do each day.

Care factor? Nil. Helpful hints? None.

Good learning points
sara-asadi0126 September 2020
As a designer myself I've learned many organizing skills throughout the years but these kadies talk about the key points that are very important in having an organized space. I do understand the over excitement and talking over each other can be annoying and many things are a bit exaggerated but I think their system works . No matter how small/big or clean/messy the space is, organizing the stuff is totally different subject and requires good thinking and using storage skills that takes time. I appreciate these ladies effort in implementing their organizing system but definitely the series needs more authenticity and mess over exaggeration.

Extra Extra
allboyzokfarm29 April 2022
Extra personalities.

Extra organization.

Not sure who the haters are.

Editing could be better.

Not all homes finished in an episode.

Fix that Reese W.

Impossible to watch
marenronja10 September 2020
I was excited when I saw this show on Netflix because of all the amazing guests, but seriously all they do is scream and talk in each others mouth and get overly excited over the most basic things. Their organization is not revolutionary either. I watched two episodes and then I got a headache so I had to turn it off. Just awful.

Very much enjoyed!
j_riv101411 September 2020
I can't believe that there are only 6 negative comments. I get what they are saying, but how sad these people literally come here just to be rude. One even said "looks like..." "I won't be watching" okay why are you reviewing then??

I very much enjoyed the show! For those of us who like organizing it's so enjoyable and pleasant to watch! Visually so stimulating! I think the hosts are funny, I never once was bothered enough to turn it off or mute. I hope they make many more!!

Such a let down
loreal310 September 2020
I was so excited about this show and so sadly dissappointed. So many women talking over each other and the high pitched screams of excitement completely take away from any type of inspiration for organizing. (Dr. Whiteney was so likeable and she saved the show from getting a 0)

First World Problems
kinnisha_andrew12 September 2020
The show is basically these two obnoxious loud white women being invited to organize giant celebrity closets and in the process giggle squeal and OMG their way to cleanliness. They don't even do anything revolutionary. It isn't like Tidying Up with Marie Kondo which gives the viewer some sense of satisfaction at the end of the episode and we learn new ways to maintain clean space. I don't know who greenlit this garbage, but I wish it had stayed on IGTV.

Painfully loud
asibreathe-758669 September 2020
The concept has so much potential. But the presenters, especially Clea Shearer, are unbelievably loud..there is so much overlapping chatter that it is impossible to enjoy the show.
