- At beginning of movie two boys wake up from bed and run around in their underwear, a boy farts on his brothers face, later the same boy hits a towel on the younger brothers crotch.
- Two kids have a long debate over puberty and whether they have gone through it, in the conversation a kid claims that the other boy 'doesn't have any hair around his pickle'. Later one of the boys asks what puberty is, another boy defines what it is and says 'its a state in a individuals development where he or she is capable of sexual reproduction.'
- A man and a woman passionately kiss and a few of the boys tell him that he should share. One of the boys finds it disgusting and a boy (the boy that was having the puberty debate) tells him if he went through puberty he would have been able to handle it
- One of the kids gets his pants pulled down and given a wedgie, his behind is shown.
- During the end credits a boy asks another boy if he has ever kissed a girl and the other boy replies saying 'ya like 20 times'

- Before shipping of to camp, a child forces a smaller child's head to be submersed in the water of a toiled bowl. At camp, this temperamental child stomps a downed bat to death.
- A big theme of the movie is about a man's crisis because he is slowly dying, there are two different times where the man has seizures in the movie, first time he is seen lying lifeless in the shower, the second time he is seen lying lifeless on the ground with pills lying next to him. We never witness the actual seizures. There is also conversations about his sickness and the problems he's having.
- One of the boys is a bad seed and very mean towards everyone

- Frequent name calling, mostly comedic.
- One of the boys uses borderline bad language, in one scene he walks up to Chief and says, 'what the fu', before he finishes the word Chief stops him and tells him not to use that word.
