Reminds me of older episodes

In my opinion, Modern Family was always good at depicting those screwball comedy moments where we see a lot of misunderstanding that is obvious to us, the audience, but the characters are oblivious to it or misunderstood. We see that here with Jay and his gardener/Gloria and her (beautiful) sister's beau and finally in a hilarious last step her sister and the gardener.

Is it new? Not really, but it's funny. It's playing to MF's strengths and I hope the cast will rather focus on trying to recycle and repack this old formula in its final season than to try for something new. It isn't as fresh as it used to be, but it entertains and makes us laugh and I think for the show's dignity and quality, it is the best option for the final season.

Great fun

In a final or 'farewell' series of a show you really want to be reminded of why you loved it/watched it for all these years, and I agree with other reviewers - this episode felt much more like an 'old fashioned' episode of 'Modern Family'.

Full of smart lines and funny moments, this was great fun. Two of the three storylines worked for me, the Cam/Mitch one less so, but that doesn't take away from the quality.

I hope the final series continues in this vein moving forward.

Keeps getting better and better !!!

This episode felt like one from the show's earlier seasons. Good misunderstandings, physical comedy and fun dialogue and plot. I like that the Dunphy family use Haley's twins for their own benefits, Cameron and Mitchell are always trying to make themselves seem interesting to their upstairs renters and I like that Gloria thinks one thing but then the tables turn on her completely after her sister shows up with a new fiancé.

I feel like each episode of this season is just getting better by the week.

An exceptional scene in an exceptional episode

The scene in which Gloria's sister Sofia intensely confronts Gloria over Gloria's interference with Sofia's relationship with her new boyfriend was absolutely wonderful. The two of them teamed up to produce exquisite acting, great chemistry, wonderful accents, absolutely inspiring body language, and pure fun. As for the rest of this episode, all the writers and actors did a truly outstanding job. The entire cast weaved its way perfectly along undulating layers of intricately weaved humor accented with wonderful facial expressions. These actors are so deeply connected to their characters that its a sheer pleasure to watch them.

It's good that 2 episodes in a row was exactly done. Sad that this is over.

Not even a little smile

Unbelievable how low quality this show has become. From a very clever, very funny series to episodes like this, when there's not even a little smile. Flat, superficial, cheap formula. By producing episodes like this it's like the makers have no pride or honour in their earlier work in this show. Awful, painful.
