- Renee Walker: Jack the police are almost here. If you get arrested, this entire operation goes out of the window. You have to get out of there.
- Jack Bauer: Copy that.
- Colonel Iké Dubaku: [Pleased to see him] do you remember the last chance we saw each other? It was a steak dinner at your residence: we shared an excellent bottle of wine. I offered my hand in "friendship" and you slapped it away
- Ule Matobo: You gave me an ultimatum: to be a puppet for your military
- Colonel Iké Dubaku: You could have a long and prosperous career as Prime Minister but now you're going back to Sangala as a traitor to your people
- Ule Matobo: I am the Prime Minister, I was elected by the people. It's you and Juma who are the traitors
- Colonel Iké Dubaku: [Walks closer to him] no, we both brought "order" to Sangala, when you are trying to destroy everything we have built. You will be taken back to Sangala, and you will give General Juma the names of all your fellow traitors
- Ule Matobo: I will never do that: never
- Colonel Iké Dubaku: Believe me, you will
- Ethan Kanin: [Over the phone] where are we?
- Larry Moss: We've ID the vehicle we believe was used in Matobo's abduction: we're still trying to track it down
- Ethan Kanin: And how long is that going to take?
- Larry Moss: I don't know sir, I don't have a timeframe
- Ethan Kanin: It's not good enough. Unless you get some results, we're going to get "hit" again, a lot of people are going to die if you don't find Dubaku
- Larry Moss: With respect sir, I don't need to be told what's at stake. We're giving everything we can, one of our agents has given her life
- Ethan Kanin: Yes, I was told about that, I'm sorry
- Larry Moss: I'll call you the minute we have something
- Ethan Kanin: [Before hanging up] we'll be waiting
- Larry Moss: [Referring to a report his holding] this says both NSA and Homeland has no idea why the breach at the Kidron plant was stopped
- Sean Hillinger: Their still looking: we're working on here also. Janis is coordinating with the digital forensics team she sent over to the plant
- Larry Moss: [Irritated] this doesn't make any sense. Why would Dubaku "suddenly" stop an attack when he was minutes away from causing mass casualties?
- Sean Hillinger: Maybe there was a malfunction in the CIP device?
- Larry Moss: No, I don't want "maybes" alright? I want answers
- Sean Hillinger: We're doing everything we can sir
- Larry Moss: [Raises his voice] that's not good enough right now, is it?
- Sean Hillinger: I don't know what else to tell you sir, I know your upset about Renee but getting angry at me is not going to make it go any faster
- Larry Moss: [Stands up from his desk] if you think I'm yelling at you because of my history with Agent Walker, you are "mistaken", there are thousands of lives at stake here: that's what "concerns" me
- Sean Hillinger: [Before leaving] I'm sorry sir
- Larry Moss: And when you and Janis were over at NSA, find out where that CIP device is being used. We find the device, we find Dubaku
- Tim Woods: [Walking through the halls of the White House and into the Oval Office] cleanup crews are already on site and we're continuing our evacuation of a one mile radius around the chemical plant
- President Allison Taylor: Casualties?
- Tim Woods: There is in fact one casualty: the plant manager, thirteen other workers are being treated for chemical burns, inhalation of toxic fumes
- President Allison Taylor: And there haven't been any other intrusions in the firewall?
- Tim Woods: No ma'am. It "appears" the crisis has been averted
- President Allison Taylor: Except that no one's been able to explain how the firewall "break" is "engaged?"
- Tim Woods: Not yet: the FBI has no idea how it "happened", it just "happened"
- President Allison Taylor: And that's not an explanation
- Tim Woods: Perhaps Dubaku is firing another "warning shot?"
- President Allison Taylor: No, Dubaku's already shot down two planes, his not afraid to take more lives
- Tim Woods: [Nods] in any event, we should be "grateful"
- President Allison Taylor: I'm not one to accept good news unless I know where it comes from. Until we have more answers, I want to maintain alert levels
- President Allison Taylor: [Over the phone, surprised to hear from him] Prime Minister?
- Ule Matobo: Yes madam President?
- President Allison Taylor: Are you alright?
- Ule Matobo: Thank God my wife and I are both fine: we were rescued
- President Allison Taylor: By whom? Where are you?
- Ule Matobo: In a "safe place", Madam President, you need to listen to me, the people who rescued us, they have "acquired" the CIP device, it's been destroyed, and your country is longer under immediate threat
- President Allison Taylor: Who are these people? Now tell me how this happened?
- Ule Matobo: I will tell you everything in person but this must "happen" privately. I must speak to you alone
- President Allison Taylor: Why alone?
- Ule Matobo: They will bring me to you: we will arrive in ten minutes
- President Allison Taylor: [Before hanging up] I'll be waiting for you
- President Allison Taylor: What is it?
- Tim Woods: [Briefing the President with the use of a monitor] the FBI believes they've detected where the next attack will take place: Dubaku's infiltrated a chemical plant just outside Kidron, Ohio, his causing pressure on the facility's primary tank to go critical. If the tank erupts, over three thousand gallons of Methyl isocyanate will be released into the atmosphere. Given the prevailing winds, a very large, a very toxic cloud will sweep the town
- Ethan Kanin: [to Taylor] Methyl isocyanate is a concentrated insecticide: even brief exposure causes severe lung damage and chemical burns on the skin
- President Allison Taylor: What's our timeframe?
- Tim Woods: The tank could rupture in fifteen minutes
- President Allison Taylor: They've already begun evacuating?
- Tim Woods: We've already contacted emergency responders on the ground in Kidron, it's just not enough time to get everyone out
- President Allison Taylor: [walking towards the monitor] Kidron's population is just over thirty thousand: this projection says we could lose over fifty percent?
- President Allison Taylor: [after Tim nods] oh dear Lord
- Ethan Kanin: Right now our only chance of stopping this is finding Dubaku and the CIP device
- Ethan Kanin: We need to talk about your husband: his "theory" about your son's death, he hasn't let it go
- President Allison Taylor: What are you talking about?
- Ethan Kanin: His been harassing Roger's girlfriend, accusing her of complicity in the death of Roger
- President Allison Taylor: Henry and I went over it again and again with the FBI. He swore to me he was passed all that
- Ethan Kanin: Well, his hired a private investigator who's "feeding" his "conspiracy theory" and taking advantage of him
- President Allison Taylor: Please get Henry on the phone
- Ethan Kanin: I'm afraid I can't do that, Henry's "unreachable"
- President Allison Taylor: I don't understand
- Ethan Kanin: Agent Gedge hasn't been answering his phone. I probably should have told you before
- President Allison Taylor: Your telling me my husband's gone missing?
- Ethan Kanin: Secret Service has put out an APB: their going to Ms. Roth's apartment, whatever is going on, we'll find out soon enough
- Marika Donoso: I was on my way to work so I thought I'd stop in to see you, I tried calling you earlier
- Colonel Iké Dubaku: I'm sorry, I've been busy
- Marika Donoso: Are you alright? You look exhausted
- Colonel Iké Dubaku: It's just been a long day
- Marika Donoso: Well, I hope you're still coming over for dinner, I'm making lasagna and my sister promises not give me anymore dirty looks. You haven't forgotten? Have you?
- Colonel Iké Dubaku: No, I just have some business to attend to
- Marika Donoso: Every time you come into the diner, you're always on the phone
- Colonel Iké Dubaku: I have to, so one day I can finally take you away from that awful place you work
- Marika Donoso: We met in that "awful" place, don't forget that
