  [Cortez tortures Gambit with his powers] 

  Fabian Cortez : Oh, but you did. Confess your treachery!

  Amelia Voght : Cortez, that's enough!

  Fabian Cortez : You're a liar! Say it!

  Gambit : Say it yourself, you slimy little crawfish.

  Amelia Voght : [shoves Cortez away]  Stop it!

  Fabian Cortez : Don't interfere again, Miss Voght, or a court may have to look into why you were helping an enemy of the state!

  Apocalypse : With your true savior.

  Fabian Cortez : I don't understand. Who are you? What do you want with me?

  Apocalypse : [Cortez sees two figures in the shadows]  You were saved from the asteroid because your talents will prove useful to me very soon.

  Fabian Cortez : But who are you?

  [Apocalypse steps out of the shadows with Deathbird, laughing maniacally.]
