Warning: Spoilers
At about 20 minutes into the episode, a concern over pesticide contaminated veggies is expressed and when the veggies are tested they are found to have traces of anhydrous ammonia. The Aasif Mandvi character, aka Ben, immediately says, "anhydrous ammonia is a pesticide."
Well, finding traces of anhydrous ammonia on my carrots might be disturbing; although it would likely be because I didn't take time to thoroughly wash them before taking a crunchy bite, but this common agricultural product is nothing more than fertilizer and not a pesticide as he so erroneously states. Anhydrous ammonia is a source of nitrogen all plants need to grow and unless consumed in large quantities, would not likely be harmful to anyone!
Creepy but a little ridiculous.

Well, that was creepy, a whole lot of creepy. But a little on the dumb, ridiculous side of things. The conclusion to the case was, anyway. Everything else was good. As for the "cliffhanger" ending, it's obvious he'll pull through, or at least long enough to be in the next episode. But I doubt he'll end up dying in the end.
Great episode!

This episode had all the things I love about "Evil"..the atmosphere, the chemistry of the actors, the 'evil' threads, the off angle shots & an introspective arc for some characters. The central 'mystery' of this episode involves mass hysteria.Kristen points out multiple bizarre cases from history most famously the mad dance, way back in the 16th century.David's recent 'sins' start to catch up.And evil has started to affect Kristen's family too now.Leland continues with his masterful brainwashing sessions.Michael Emerson is a delight with his dialogue delivery. The episode ends on a cliffhanger though I don't think many people will buy it.
