It was better than average but building whole episode on one scene seems too much for me.

Baby steps towards the finale

While I cannot agree with a previous reviewer that this was up there with the best of 'Modern Family' S11 this is still an episode with some good moments.
Back in the early days Phil tripping and saying "I've got to fix that step" was a running joke, so there was an air of poignancy about him now trying to fix it.
The Mitch/Cam storyline was very well played out, and gives a sense of the characters moving on with the next stage of their lives.
The only storyline that didn't work for me was the Alex one. I've no idea what the character is supposed to do as a job by this point, but it never seems overly interesting or funny. Even adding the usually dependable Haley into the mix didn't seem to help. I do hope Alex ends up with Arvin though, that'd be a nice happy ending for her.
A decent episode overall.

Time to say goodbye...and this makes it a little easier

Not a single smile for me in this episode, never mind a chuckle and a million miles from a laugh out load moment. There's got to be a better way of making the end of an era less emotional for us than being woefully unfunny so we hate it at the end.

Just awful

The saddest thing to witness is that of a truly wonderful show turn into the exact opposite of what it used to be. The only silver lining is that it will be easier to see this show end knowing that I'm not going to miss it, which I would have even if it was a tiny bit good. Predictable and downright terrible.
