Convergence of everything wrong...
planktonrules26 April 2015
Apparently, Louisa and Martin are not going to wait very long until they wed. So, this episode consists of them rushing like mad to get the wedding completed. However, as they want many of the traditional trappings of a wedding, it's tough--and now EVERYTHING that could possibly go wrong seems to be going wrong. The vicar is a nasty alcoholic and Martin injures him...twice. The wedding reception is going to be at Burt Large's restaurant and the plumbing goes crazy and floods the place. The florist is arrested and sent off to jail--and the flowers are locked in his shop. The matron of honor is hit in the eye and needs to wear an eye patch. And, the list goes on and on.... Could this all just be God's way of warning the couple NOT to marry?!

This is a jam-packed show--with an amazing script with lots of insane moments interwoven within it. Very entertaining though I must admit that the ending is a bit of a downer.

A Series of Unfortunate Events
Hitchcoc16 February 2018
It's wedding day and all the forces of distress gather together to take their toll. The florist is arrested. The minister is a drunk and Doc inadvertently hurts him, sending him to the hospital. The Larges have their own issues. Louisa's bridesmaid is pregnant and that isn't all. A good deal of tension builds up as Martin continues to see patients, some of whom are dealing with strange afflictions. Oh, then there is a pig!

Warning: Spoilers
I was distraught that they did not get married. This episode came at me with a harsh blow. To boot, it was a finale. Martin and Louisa are odd creatures, and it should'v been a "odd" wedding episode...not a non-wedding episode. Louisa and Ellingham clearly look like they belong together.... I will hope for this in Season 5. Also would definitely like to see PC Milo back on.. He was a great Portwenny! The current guy is awful, and painful to watch..not funny, not witty.

Enough of the stray dog already. It was funny with the big sloppy one in the beginning, and the hotel woman losing her dog to a fateful death with Ellingahms vehicle.

Most of all, just bring back more and more episodes, and please keep up the funding of the series. With all my love!

Disappointing finale
nmottel15 February 2022
I've come to this series late but am enjoying it immensely. I had high hopes for the season 3 finale but it was a dud for me. Not only was there a disappointing ending but the comedy-of-errors wedding day became tiresome and ridiculous. Martin and Louisa deserved better.
