. . . American would call someone DOG CATCHER POPEYE. The proper form of address now in this enlightened age would be ANIMAL CONTROL SERVICE PERSON POPEYE. However, even the later title is highly misleading, because it is BRUTUS who is the "dog catcher!" Furthermore, it is as if both Popeye and Brutus have been microwaved at the American Embassy in Havana, Cuba, because they do not recognize each other after 165 previous episodes together in 1960. Apart from these and various other inconsistencies, there's almost nothing about this episode meriting any sort of special recommendation, beyond being a rare outing picturing Popeye at sea.
